Will the color on the hanger stain the clothing?

Not at all. Great hangers. I use them to hang up freshly washed clothes and I haven't noticed any discoloration. Also the fabric is course so clothes to not slip of the hangers.

Great gift idea- hard to find someone who cannot use more hangers.

Great gift idea, my sister loved them!! Pretty and functional to keep items from slipping off the hangers. Soft and colorful, and very feminine. I thought they were a great price, and since she was happy, I was too. The hangers appear well made and i hope they last a long time.
