I've been giving this 1/2 each to both my chihuahua's for 2 months. Its made a huge difference in my older 11 year old mobility and memory. Giving it to my 2 year old is a good longterm preventive treatment. They both eat it with no problem.

This is an excellent product - it really makes a difference, as my dogs’ coats are noticeably softer, and their skin is no longer dry/itchy. They digest it very easily, and seem to like the flavor (and they are generally picky princesses).

Our 10 year old Sheltie has gallbladder disease and needs to be on low fat diet. Her skin got so dried out with terrible flaking dandruff. Since we bathed her with special shampoo and put her on the Welactin Omega 3 her skin has gotten back to normal with no more flaking. She enjoys eating it and we will re-order when more is needed. Also it is affordable.

Hi. I’m a dog. I don’t usually write reviews because, well… paws. But my human started giving me this Nutramax Welactin Omega-3 Fish Oil, and I felt obligated to bark about it. Before this magical fish juice, my skin was itchy, flaky, and my fur was looking a little rough. I had dry patches, dandruff, and let’s just say… I wasn’t exactly “best in show” material. Fast forward a few weeks: my coat is softer, shinier, and my skin feels so much better. Less itching, less flaking, and way fewer “why are you chewing on yourself?” talks from my human. Bonus: it mixes right into my food, and apparently it tastes amazing because I lick my bowl cleaner than ever. My human says it’s good for my joints too, which is great because I still need to zoom around the yard like a maniac. 10/10. Would recommend to all my fellow good boys and girls. Especially if your skin is acting ruff.

My vet recommended Welactin for my dog's joint issues. I tried the liquid version at first, but it didn't agree with my dog's stomach. I decided to try these before giving up, and am glad that I did. My dog is pretty small, so I cut all of the "treats" in half when I first get the bag and then give him one half for every meal. I just stick it in his food and he gobbles it right up. It doesn't smell good to me, but he loves the smell! The only drawback is that the treats are very firm and large. You need a sharp knife to cut them in half, and it still takes a little force. If you give these Welactin treats to your dog with meals, you'll probably want to cut the whole bag in half at once and keep them in an airtight container so they're ready to go when you need them. And still, if your dog is pretty small, half of each Welactin treat is pretty large. While my small dog would probably swallow the entire city hole if he thought it were food, I still feel a little nervous giving him such a firm hard treat of this size. But he's been taking these for almost a year without issue, and his coat and joints have never been batter.

My Aussie was losing hair and I didn't know why. She was already on a fish oil but I thought I might try another one to see if it helped her more with shedding. I also cut out any chicken from her diet. My dogs loved these. They are a little soft and my dogs gobbled these down. They loved the taste and it was easy for them to eat. I really think they helped my shedding Aussie to start growing a new soft coat. They are expensive but if my dog sheds like that again, I would buy again.

This stuff is awesome! In August our Papillon started losing his coat due to being very sick since March with vasculitis. It was coming out in handfuls! By beginning of October he had lost most of his beautiful coat! In mid-October I started giving him 1/2 of a chew once a day (He's 9lbs) I can't believe how fast his coat came back! By December it was all filled in, by January it was so thick and it came back curly! Even the fur on his legs is long and more full than it ever was. Not only is it full and curly, it's so soft and shiny. Lol, when our vet saw him at his recheck visit, she buried her face in his coat cause it was so soft! I highly recommend this stuff!! I rarely give reviews unless it's something that I feel really works well and I want to share with someone I think would benefit from it.

People on Reddit recommended this for fragile dog claws. This combined with PKperekond Biotin supplement saved my dog's nails. She was constantly breaking her nails. After using this for a month her broken claws healed by themselves without her having to go to the vet. She was able to go on a very long, strenuous, rocky hike and not a single claw even chipped.
