Solid stable power, but audibly loud
I purchased 2 of these (EX12), one for a TV/Stereo (theater) room and a second for a home music production and mixing room. The power provided is solid and stable, so I'm very happy with that. The packaging was first rate. Double boxed inside shock absorbing pillow wrap. Amazon added a 3rd box for good measure. My only reason for not giving a 5th star is that the fan noise is really LOUD! I've set up one in my theater with an ambient measurement of around 38db and when turned on, it measures around 57db at my listening position which is quite noticeable. It's completely unacceptable for the music studio as is. I'm going to have to build whisper fan vented "quiet boxes" for them, or possibly run cables through the wall in the studio and have the unit in another room. Not an unsolvable problem, but it would have been preferable if they had made that disclosure in the sales materials.
