Not really. They magnetize to each other lightly and they will magnetize to a fridge, but I don't think they would hold any paper up on a fridge. If they were too strong of magnet it would be hard to move them around quickly.

Is it Quiet? Would it be ok for church services?

Depends on the church. They’re not loud, but not quiet, either. I use them while on the phone in my office and the people to whom I’m talking have said that it sounds like I’m typing on a keyboard.

Would these magnets be strong enough to interfere with a pacemaker?

From what I've read, a magnet of 10 gauss can interfere with a pacemaker. A typical refrigerator magnet is 100 gauss. These don't seem as strong as a refrigerator magnet, but I still wouldn't hold one near the area of a pacemaker. Literature typically says to keep magnets at least six inches away from the area of the pacemaker, which these would typically be when being used. Now I am not a doctor or scientist, so this should not be taken as absolute truth. It would be best to consult your physician.
