so we tried these out yesterday evening, the claws are awesome they shred up a roast for bbq sandwiches so much easier than a couple of forks the tips are very sharp and they are very strong and sturdy. the tongs I did not use with the smoker as they has silicone covered tips rather I used in ,y nonstick pan to turn the breakfast sausage, they are awesome as well. With the sides being metal I can hang them on my knife rack right by the stove and they have a thing to pull to keep them closed so storage is super easy. The baster I do like better than my other ones as well since the tip does not come off there is not that extra place for the sauce to hide so is easier to clean. Now the reason for the four stars instead of five is the gloves, and the gloves were the main reason I ordered this set. These gloves are very large may work great for a tall man but for a 5'3" female I can not do anything in them, with that being said they are very thick and I did touch the smoker with them on and no burns they are definitely having good grip, so overall I think they are of high quality and would be perfect for someone with larger hands

Not a bad set if you don't grill often and want to avoid an expensive investment in higher quality grill tools. Some things of note: The claws are plastic, and although they work well, I question their long term durability. The gloves are nice, but not really all that useful. They are a very basic design and VERY stiff, which eliminates any nimble finger movement, and I believe anyone with smaller or weaker hands will have a hard time using them. They also tend to be very slippery when wet, so don't handle anything you can't get a good grip on if moisture is present.The tongs and baster are about the same type you'd find at Walmart. The silicon does seem to to be of good quality and holds up to heat well. For the price, you won't have any regrets.

I like this set. It is as advertised. The only negative is minor, the gloves are hard to use as they aren't very bendable and the fingers are very wide. The meat shredders work great. The tongs lock which is a nice feature. The basting brush works well and cleans easily.

Brush is way to small to baste anything but maybe a quail. Claws are not great. gloves are ok but smaller hot objects like grates you start to feel the heat through the gloves

Nice BBQ kit. The gloves are really nice and heavy. My husband was pleased with this and used it right after Christmas for his smoker

Very nice combination! Can't wait for memorial weekend to have our BBQ party. These tools are useful for regular cooking too. I use it them for baking in the oven

Glove got a hole it in after 2nd time used.
