RED Heart E305.3962 Super Saver Ombre Yarn, Vineyard

Always a great buy, can't go wrong with Red Heart yarns. Quality,and colors are always great and I make a variety of things with this yarn. It is durable and doesn't fade and is usually soft and is correct thickness.

The items were delivered very quickly. The colors were a true match to what was advertised. I can really appreciate that because I mix and match colors in my designs. The thread was durable and soft.

Nice quality yarn for perfect price

I've been using Red Heart yarn for decades! It's absolutely my, "Go To," yarn for all my projects. I prefer Red Heart to other yarns for a combined group of reasons: - Readily available - Inexpensive, as yarns go - Synthetic (neither shrinks as does wool & colors don't run) - Plethora of colors & varieties (solid; flecks; ombre; multi-color et.c.) Keep in mind that if left in the sun for a long duration, the colors will fade. (I found that out the hard way when I left my scarf on my car's dashboard.) Also, while this yarn is incredibly durable and easy to use, it's not very soft. For myself, the only thing I won't use it for is items I'm making for a baby.

There not good for beginners. Otherwise maybe if your a more advance at crocheting, they probably yes. I had to return them and go to the store to purchase another type. I needed something easier to work with as a beginner. Otherwise maybe it has a really nice feel to it and doesn’t fray easily.

Beautiful colors

Someone said that the color was a dull old faded jean blue and I was super worried. Thank goodness I bought it anyway because it’s just the bright blue I needed! I’m going to make a cute little star tote bag. The color is perfect and it’s soft enough so that it’s comfortable but not so soft that it doesn’t hold its shape. And doesn’t pull apart easily at all! It’s such a good price for the size I’ve bought at least a dozen of the red heart super save ombré yarns and they come with enough to make a whole tote bag!

I’m not sure how this yarn got a review of 4.7. It’s definitely one of the roughest Acrylic yarn that I have ever worked with and my fingers will hurt from the texture of the yarn after crocheting for a while. I’m not able to return because I have already thrown the packaging away. I would not recommend this brand to anyone and will not purchase again.

This yarn is great for making blankets and throws but may be a little too scratchy for a sweater. I bought 4 balls to knit a throw-3 of them were perfect but the fourth ball had numerous faults throughout the entire ball. Picture above.

Works up great.. has a look of faded jeans.

Color is much darker than 1st picture. Looks more like the swatch in the second photo. It is more of a denim coloring.
