Must have!
This item seems like an awsome product. The only problem is that one of the 4 pads is cracked. Hopefully when the seller sees this review, they send one to replace it inted of doing the whole mail thing.

Even my picky husband likes these trivets. Great buy! they are thick enough to give me confidence in setting hot pots on my counters with no risk of damage. The color matches my kitchen. Great price for 4 trivets!

Light and does the work.
I got this to protect my new quartz top. Individual pieces are big enough for a small to medium size pots. I like that I have four so I have enough coverage under cookie pans or big iron skillets from the oven.

Design allows a mat to easily crack along the grain
While the product is inexpensive and gets the job done, the design and materials have a flaw. By cutting as many channels as they do through the top and bottom, it becomes easier for a mat to crack along the grain, even though it is only perhaps 1/16 of an inch above the counter top. One of our four mats has cracked in this way.

Save your table
Love these trivets. They look good and save the table. Don't let them get wet for any length of time...dry them off ASAP.
