Easy fix for your A/C
Easy to wire up and works great.Only issue, the body of this replacement was very slightly bigger than the one that I took out, a few strokes with a file /rotary grinder 1and a1/4" diameter and it went right in.

Wider than expected but still usable.
They came early and a great price...packaged nicely....they were a bit wider than what we expected. Our used one with the same model number is slimmer. I think we can make it work though.

Cold air!
Came home from the beach with an 86 degree house. Heat pump not running although thermostat was set to 72. Since it was after business hours at the HVAC parts store, I looked on Amazon and found this capacitor. Ordered, and it arrived at 7am next morning. I installed it in 10 minutes. Cold air!

Great 1:1 replacement that saved hundreds of dollars
My AC compressor started progressively getting louder and louder throughout the summer, and sounded like it was about to explode, I had a service person come and the quote they gave me was quite outrageous -(I observed they just turned the breaker off and popped the top off the compressor). Having suspicions, I had them close everything up and I asked them for specific details about the part they were going to replace. When I did my own research, lo and behold I could acquire the part myself for literally $300 cheaper than what they were trying to do, so I decided to take a shot at it myself. A clean swap only involves (after turning off the breaker and unscrewing the screws holding the lid of the compressor and removing it); disconnecting and reconnecting Spade connectors in the exact same configuration as the original capacitor, and ensuring that the band clamp is snug for the new capacitor. Some replacements may not be a perfect fit so you may need to readjust the clamp that holds it. Well worth the trouble as long as you can remove a few screws and carefully fiddle with some spade connectors. Happy with this replacement. AC has been operating smoothly and much more quietly.
