I had ringworm on my finger so bad 10 years ago it swelled and crusted all around the finger. I'd tried what people said, but everything I tried made it worse: opening it with brushing only served to spread or inflame it, as did anything like tea tree oil alone. I also ended up with a huge patch inside my elbow. So recently I was really scared when it came back in the exact places! I'm sure it lays dormant in there, nasty stuff. Lamasil works but very very very slowly. Also tincture of black walnut works, but it takes so long as well. I decided to try this ointment. I'd had this stuff for two weeks on my finger. On the arm, it only came out in a few itchy spots. The black walnut tincture got rid of it right away. But the finger fungus is pretty deep. With this ointment, within two days the skin looked pink instead of red and inflamed, flat instead of puffed, and it just looked overall better. It's been about four days now. Two days ago I started putting this ointment and covering it with liquid bandage, as I read here. It really is unbelievably better. I'm not ready to go around with it uncovered yet - I don't want it spreading to my pets. But it is healing tremendously fast, considering I've had this for a few weeks prior. And when I had it the first time, it didn't totally go away for many many many months, even with internal meds and doctor-prescribed creams. I suggest trying this. Something about this ointment works very well on ringworm. Note: a warning that was not on the package: DO NOT wear this out in the sun! I put it on, and went for a walk with no gloves or bandage on my finger. I wanted the finger to get some sun and air. Before I got home, the area looked black and necrotic! I got scared! But I kind of knew it was the ointment but still it was really really ugly. I went to try to wash the ointment off, and right, it was just the ointment. It didn't all come off right away, and my finger still has a bit of dark areas. They really need to put that warning on the tube.

Unfortunately, my dog lived in a community where we all walked our dogs in the same area someone’s dog had ringworm, and my dog caught it had it really bad on side of his eye, and on one of his ears, and the stuff I was buying at the store was not touching it. I bought this. I applied it for three days and instantly his ringworm went away

The first week I could not tell a difference. The second week was hit and miss. Some days it looked almost gone, but other days it looked the same. This is my third week and discoloration seems to be going away, which is the worst part. Mine never itched. It was just an inflamed red circle on my index finger of all places. I'll keep using terrasil until I run out to make sure it goes away entirely. And, I will stop rubbing my dog's belly which is where I got it in the first place. I bought some dog spray, but she won't let me put it on her belly.

This product, Terrasil, does not work. If anything it made it worse. The first day or so it seemed like it may be helping but then all of a sudden it flared and got worse and worse even with following the application instructions. I used it for about a week. I finally switched to Lotrimin Ringworm and it started getting better in one day. Would not recommend wasting your money. Plus, it’s 3x the cost of the Lotrimin.

I’m blown away that this product worked better than prescription over the counter drugstore brands I was trying for different things and I didn’t start seeing results until I bought this I also like how moisturizing it is and it doesn’t feel like you’re rubbing a bunch of chemicals all over you. This will be my number one go to if ringworm ever hits my house again.

I have had ring worm 3 times in my life. The most recent infection was the absolute worse. Each time I have been to multiple doctors and dermatologist because on top of the fungal infection I always have a severe allergic reaction (scattered rash and swelling in all different parts of my limbs and torso that are so itchy it hurts). I thought it was a topical medicine that I was using, Ive tried allot, but I have finally figured out that I am literally allergic to the fungus itself and when I do get ring worm my body has a huge allergic reaction that spreads through my veins. The allergic reaction will never go away even with prescribed oral and topical medication until I kill the ring worm. This stuff which main ingredient is 1% Clotrimazole along with washing the ring worm and the surrounding area 3 times a day with a anti fungal soap has done the trick. This particular treatment is not a cream but more of a thicker salve which seems to dry out the fungus better then other brands that are creams. Hope this helps, I definitely recommend.

This is a useless herbal remedy. Did nothing for my ringworm. It actually grew while using while I applied for 1 week. Went to doctor and got real medicine.
