The first time I read this book after taking it out of its package I cried. Then the day had arrived that I was looking forward to and dreading, our last day. During our story time I pulled out this book and instantly my voice cracked and tears started coming out. My Teaching Assistant was fighting back tears herself. I started reading the book and sure enough I cried, my students where amazed over the fact I was crying “Omg! She really had tears in her eyes” one kiddo said “We really are like a family and she does love us” another kiddo said. Y’all my students are in PreK and they understood what this book meant and shared so many found memories we had with one another during the year. I have a feeling I’ll probably cry every time I read this book but they will always be happy tears because this story truly touches the heart.

Love this book
I have bought this book for each of my kids and have all of their elementary school teachers so far write them a letter inside. It's so sweet and special. I purchased the hardback. And the book itself is really nice quality that should last over the years.

What An Amazing Tribute to Teachers and the Classroom Family
When I discovered this book on Instagram I just had to order it. The first time I read this book after taking it out of its package I cried. The perfect last day of school book!
I love love love “Our Class is a Family” and “A Letter from Your Teacher on the First Day of School” by Shannon Olsen. They are the epitome of perfect books to start the school year with. When I discovered her newest book “A Letter from Your Teacher on the Last Day of School” I knew I had to have it. And once again- I was not disappointed. Shannon understands classrooms, students, and the connections teachers make during the school year because she experienced these moments herself. She is aware of making connections and the absolute need to start and end a school year with love, positivity, and heart. I highly recommend this book and all of Shannon’s books.

Perfect Classroom Addition to End of Year!
Normal size paperback of the cutest end of the year book! My First Graders made mailboxes out of paper bags and wrote each other letters the last week of school and on the last day- I read them this book and gave them all personalized letters from me! They loved it

Great for PK-Elem age kids
Bought two books for my elementary age GS's. Both teachers wrote a letter in books for each GS. I'm saving books for the boys to give to them one day. They both had WONDERFUL teachers that i'm sure they'll not forget.

Lovely Book
This book is typically given from teachers to students but in lieu of the standard "Oh the Places You'll Go" I decided to purchase this as a parent and have my daughter's teachers sign it at the end of each school year.

Beautiful book for end of year
I loved reading this book to my class at the end of the school year. I look forward to reading the other book at the beginning of the year too.
