Crystal Katana Tool by Crystal Ninja Rhinestone Applicator

Love it! My first time ever using Swarovski crystals I tried with tweezers & flung them all over the place losing many, but entertaining my cats greatly!!! Got this guy & they Sta on the tool, go where I want, production speed getting faster with each use! Using with gem tack to make a beautiful sparkling "crystal slippers" a-la Cinderella, on a pair of black tennis shoes so I can wear them and yet have comfort while @ Disneyland! My Mom raised me saying ladies never wear sneakers with a dress, & yet we are dressing up 50's style for the 60 year Disneyland Birthday the 1st day of the celebration! I got an amazing dress, but none of the shoes I wanted to wear would be comfortable enough and let me have fun all day without putting myself in a wheelchair from blisters & terribly aching feet! So I apologized to my Mom, hope she forgives me from where she is watching me in the clouds...purchased a great pair of supportive completely black sneakers & am crystalizing them in varied shades of blue crystals in an elaborate pattern with crystal butterflies on the tip! They look amazing & beautiful, hopefully I don't lose my status as a properly stylish "Lady" in my beautiful dress & white gloves with my lovely pillbox veiled hat & accessories by wearing my Cinderella-fied sneakers!! Love the tool, will use it sparkling anything that doesn't move fast enough to get away now, I'm sure! 😉

This is a must have tool for any crafter that works with beads or rhinestones. It would make a GREAT gift for any crafter. It works exactly as description reads. Replacement heads are a bit difficult to find so my only suggestion would be to purchase a couple of replacement heads at the time you order this tool so that you have them on hand when needed - it will be a while but it's better to have them and not need them for a while rather than end up with a tool that you can't find replacement heads for.

I wasn't sure about this tool which is really funny because I work with rhinestones all day long. My nail artist (who also works with little rhinestones) is the one who told me I had to get it and after seeing her for 20 years, I had to listen, and I am glad I did.I love this tool. I want to have more of them because my other rhinestone pencils were nice and cheap so I could just have them everyplace. Now I have to look for where I put this one so I can use it every time.The pointy at the other end is way more helpful than I expected. I don't know if it has any magnetic or anti magnetic in it but when I go to flip a stone over, it seems to do it before I even try to do it.Very helpful handy little tool.

I was upset when I received this due to the quality...very poor quality! The rhinestone and tip feel off when I removed it from the package. The only thing that saved this is that it does exactly what it says...picks up great but should last longer.Update:The way this tool picks up every size rhinestone is awesome and I've been using it 3-4 hours a day for about a week and that part is great. I'm not sure what happened to my tool but I love the the way it picks up so I ordered the limited edition Crystal Kubaton that you can sharpen and i can't wait to receive it.I also experienced the best customer service experience in my life! Ms. Kellie DeFries contacted me to find out what happened and replace the item. The company also found my account from my order themselves. I do like this and it works great, but it's not quite as amazing as others seem to say. I have to clean the tip off a lot to keep it working well. I have used a lot of different rhinestone tools and while I really like the size of this, I don't notice a huge difference otherwise. All of these tools basically use a wax tip to pick up the tiny rhinestones. I do really like the tiny metal tip to push my rhinestones in place and move them around a bit. If you can get this on sale, I definitely recommend it, but the full price is just too much for what it does. Especially since it feels like the tip will need to be replaced quite often. Or at least reshaped in some way.Overall, a nice tool and great if you work with rhinestones. Just overpriced.

Oh, so very fabulous! I have stoned my first two figure skating dresses—each one in record time! The wax end makes it so easy to pick and place larger stones, I can hardly believe how fast I can get a project done. Same with the thin metal end for smaller stones. The wide width makes the Katana so easy to hold—like the fatter crayons and pencils for kindergarten students.

Works very well for picking up small crystals. But doesn't pick up the very tiny ones so well. The tips on both ends seem to be pretty loose and turn very easily. When I place the larger crystals and try to press them down with the chrome end, it isn't very stable. This sure isn't as easy to use as the videos show. The wax on the one i got feels dried out and is not sticky at all. I do have to press a little on the crystals to get it to pick each one up, even though you aren't supposed to have to do so. It is making the tip get pushed down a little already, so it is no longer as pointed. I was so excited to get my Crystal Katana, but now I get frustrated because the crystals are so hard to pick up, and some of them end up on the floor after they fall off of the wax tip. Not a happy camper. Um, blinger.

My wife is a scrapbooker and card maker who likes to add flat backed crystals to her projects, however, she has Rheumatoid Arthritis and handling those crystals is very hard for her so I purchased her this tool and she is so happy! She manages the crystals without issue, it has a large barrel so it is easy for her to hang onto and gets the crystals to the right spot every time! She puts some crystals out onto her mat, presses the Katana gently onto the top of a crystal and it stays put while she takes it to the spot where she has laid down the glue. She presses the crystal into the glue, lets it sit for a moment, then she simply pulls the Katana away and the crystal stays in place. Just in case your glue doesn't set as quickly, there is a removable poke tool on the other end that you can remove and press against the crystal to hold it in place while you pull away from the crystal.
