I used this for Thanksgiving and every single person at the table said the turkey was the most delicious, moist, juicy turkey they've ever had. Someone even said they don't really like turkey but this was so good. I was hesitant because it's just two hooks and a piece of metal but it came through and I'll never cook a turkey again without it. I will say, just for whoever reads this, it comes with almost zero directions. Though it's not super hard to figure out, I could have used a bit more guidance.

Small item for roasting or in my case deep frying that really helps out. Super simple to set up and use and worked well with the deep fryer stand/hook combo. I will be using this every year for thanks giving. I would recommend for a stocking stuffer or house gift for those who like to cook.

I saw an add for this and had to try it out. It works perfectly for a Turkey and or chicken. It precludes the need to truss with twine, which can be messy and difficult. It’s made of stainless steel and is easily cleaned in dishwasher. If you are stuffing your turkey it allows a little bit more room then the plastic ones sometimes attached, which also allows more space for airflow. My only complaint is in the front package picture of holding the wings is misleading and does not work as well as the depiction on back of package. I am very glad I purchased this and will be using indoors and out in the future.

This tool worked great! Very easy to use. The fit is a little off for a 15 lb turkey, so I did have to dig it into the skin to get it to hold onto the wings. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I really wanted to love this thing. I really did. I run a small business frying turkeys every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. To me this had the potential to be a great time saver and to also add some reinforcement to my poultry racks which get worn out from so much use every year. At first everything was great as it did a wonderful job on our smaller (15-16lb) turkeys. It trusses the birds up nicely, is relatively easy to use, and added the reinforcement I was hoping for to the poultry rack. Those birds came out looking great and they held a beautiful shape. When removing the device it did tear the skin in several places which was unfortunate. Over the course of 10 smaller turkeys I was unable to find a way to remove it without damaging some of the skin. This is superficial but it's worth noting since it is one area that an old school twine truss has an advantage. Unfortunately, this thing was worse than useless on our larger turkeys (18-20lbs). The metal hooks that catch the wings are too short for birds of this size. I forced it on to the first turkey only to find that the hooks pierced the wings and this was the only way they would stay put. Turkey wings from fried turkeys get burned anyway so this was not a big deal. What was a big deal was that just to get the hooks attached meant you had to pull the legs so far up that the slot meant to allow the poultry rack to go through (and provide reinforcement) was not usable. To top all of that off when we removed it from the 18lb turkey after frying it tore up the legs, the skin on the breast and the wings. It was way too tight to truss up to the big birds and tore them up when removing it. So not only did it fail to provide the desired reinforcement to the larger turkeys (where it is most needed) but it really tore up the meat as it was being removed. The creator needs to have a larger size for larger turkeys. The idea is great, but the one size fits all for turkeys is a complete failure.' All of that said, if your family typically goes with the smaller turkeys, up to 16lbs, then this is a handy device that's easy to use and easy to clean, and durable. For anything larger, stick with twine (until they make something larger).

I was watching a shopping channel on television when I saw this, and I was intrigued. I ordered and used at Thanksgiving for a 17 lb. turkey (celery in cavity) and worked exactly as stated. It held the legs in place, kept the wings up and were crispy which I wanted. After use, it was easy to clean as it is chromed. Very pleased with this unique item.

I’ve been trussing chickens and turkeys for some time, and while I’m not as skilled as a “professional” chef I can get the job done. When I came across the video of the two guys who invented this trying to get backing from the “sharks” I thought I had to give it a try. I bought the turkey model for Thanksgiving and all I can say is the chicken model is next on my purchase list. So easy to use, a lot less fuss, and super easy to clean (dishwasher). After using it all I could think was why didn’t someone come up with this sooner? Good old American ingenuity, and congrats to the guys who came up with this.

Very easy to use, and I love that I can wash it and use it again. My mom saw it and requested one as a stocking stuffer!
