Would I be able to walk normally?

There are a few shoes that are harder to walk around with the inserts in. I have found using them in my running shoes while I am out and about can be troublesome.

Has anyone tried these with adidas?

Yes, shell-toe Adidas but not a sox style. As these guards will minimize creases but not eliminate creases altogether. I found they do not minimize creasing in a pair of air force ones. It is mainly because the toe box is longer and would require something more stiffer than these guards. So, yes I like these for my shell-toe Adidas.

Anyone tried these in a size 13?

I would not suggest it. As I wear a mens size 5.5 EU loafers and they just manage to guard against creasing. The longer the shoe size the less coverage these guards provide. They are still flexible and therefore coverage is minimal. So I would select another brand to provide better protection.

Would they happen to work for dress shoes too?

They can be cut to fit your shoes. I've only used them in my sneakers, so I'm not sure if they would be comfortable in shoes.
