They work great! Come with wo sizes and fit my shoes really well. I get so frustrated that my fairly new tennis shoes always wear through at the heel. These fix them so I can continue to use them for a long time. I just followed the directions... cleaned the area with alcohol and let dry, placed the patch over the hole, rubbed and smoothed thoroughly. Then I heated it with a hair dryer for a few minutes. The edges do not come up at all unlike others I've used. They should hold until the shoe finally wears out. Yay!

They are pretty good at preventing my big toe from tearing the show, or just covering a hole that is there. The size is good, and once they are in you barely feel them. I gave it 4 start since inserting them is very annoying. They keep getting stuck on my fingers, folding in or just stick to the wrong place. Since I need them for where my big toe is, that’s very annoying and I had to throw a few away since they became un usable. Took several tries to get it in.

These seem to work well. I have a set of Merrells that are in great shape except for the inside heel liner was worn through. These went in easily and seem to be sturdy and well attached. What isn't stated is that in this package, there are 2 pairs of small patches and 2 pairs of large. Of course they can be trimmed to fit, but the small ones fit my low top hikers perfectly. Going forward, I may install these as a preventative measure on new shoes to reinforce that area.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Needed to repair holes in the ankle cushion on the heels of my pickleball shoes and these patches worked - at least initially! The adhesive needs to be stronger as they tend to peel away with time so I've already replaced the patch on one shoe twice and the other shoe once in about a month of wearing the shoes.

I hate writing reviews but this one is different. I can’t tell you how many pairs of Hokas I’ve worn out - 8 I believe. I walk 7-8 miles a day, and even though they’re expensive and the heels wear out, for me they’re the best, hands down. THIS TIME I thought I’d look around to find some sort of solution, and found these. I followed the info I found, cleaned the whole heel with 90% alcohol, let them dry for a couple hours, and applied them to the best of my ability. Some say not to let the patches go over the outside top, but the damage stretched too high up not to. I stuck them down firmly for 5 minutes each, and used maximum hair dryer heat to make sure the glue was as firm and stuck as possible. I had no problem with them sticking to my fingers - it’s no different than tape or stickers - just do your best. I let them sit for 12 hours and then got back to walking in them and they are PERFECT . I’m a little shocked, and even if these only last 6 months or longer, they’re worth it. I have plenty extra and my shoes are not incurring further damage with me walking in them unpatched. This is a fantastic purchase! Wish I hadn’t thrown out my other pairs.

Works really well and saved me from getting a blister on the back of my ankle. Seems like that’s part of the shoe that goes first on the inside.

I used the black version to rebuild the shoe heels of my Skecher sneakers. The patches seemed to stick very well, but it will take some time to find out how long they last. It was challenging peeling the white backing away from the black sticky patch. There were no instructions.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these worked. I used them to repair damage around the heel area of my running shoes, which had become uncomfortable to wear. The patches were easy to apply and made the shoes much more comfortable again. They hold up well and last quite a while before needing replacement. They're a great way to get some extra life out of a pair of shoes instead of replacing them straight away. Overall, a simple and effective product that offers good value for money.
