P21S 16800T Drying Towel

Got a decent car so, as a departure from the "never wash" norm, I researched best washing techniques, thinking I needed to get a chamois.A professional carwash technician recommended the "P21S" in a thorough, convincing blog comment. Apparently chamois leather has acid in it, and some other negative aspect the "pro" mentioned.Purchased this product on Amazon. Have used it two or three times...and can almost not believe how phenomenally it dries the car. Have told my local hardware store to stock it.What a great product!

I fell in love with this when I bought my car back in 2006. I finally had to replace it. Very good product.

I've been using these since 1998, and I've never found anything even close to as effective. This will dry your car to a spotless, fully dry. Just keep wringing it out. It's amazing.

Too small and doesn't absorb nearly as much as similar products.

I bought this towel without checking the size. It does a decent job drying but it needs to be offered in a larger size. Took a long time drying an SUV.

Great product. I’ve use them for years. They usually last over a year.

(Update: Emailed P21S, they admitted that the container is bad and can rip the towel. They say that they are working to change the container.)First of all, it is shipped in a plastic bag saturated in slimy smelly goo. The instructions say to rinse this out (who wants to go through all this work just to use a towel?)...but you can never really rinse all of it out. This goo causes streaks - there's your first false claim.The towel itself is a rubbery material, with fibers in the middle holding the two rubber sheets together. After following the instructions exactly on how to prep this towel, the absorbancy is HORRIBLE. It hardly absorbs any water, and you can't wring much water out. It stays in a constant state of dampness. To give you an idea - after wringing it out as much as I could, I touched the edge of it to a small pool of water (a few drops) on the car. Nothing happened. A real towel would soak up the water, or at least get the edge of the towel wet.You can't pull it across a panel. It doesn't lay down like a towel to conform to a flat surface - its a little stiff. You can't use one hand to push it across a panel. Its rubbery and sticks to the paint.The container has sharp edges, and is too small. Every time I take it out of the container, it scratches and creates lots of tiny tears in the rubber surface of the towel. Now whenever I use the towel, it leaves tiny bits of the yellow stuff on my car. I thought it was lint free?I'm an extra-careful meticulous person, so I can't imagine how worse a normal persons experience with this towel could be.

You need to use and rinse this towel sever times before it will start absorbing and not leave any streaking.........all in all it works great
