I purchased this after the recommendation of my dermatologist. I used in recently during a trip to the Caribbean. I took 2 capsules in the morning before heading out to town and the beach. Easy to swallow and did not upset my stomach. I used my usual sunscreen as well but did not reapply as often. I felt the capsules gave me extra protection and bought me some extra time in the sun without getting burned. I feel it is especially helpful when you don't have time every so often to be applying sunscreen. Lately I have been taking it right before going to play golf. I am happy it works.

I developed a true sun allergy after antibiotics approx 15 years ago. I have tried every combination out there trying to tolerate the sun. I would start itching and develop tiny red bumps that would stick around for two weeks. Dermatologists just tell me to use hypoallergenic everything and stay out of the sun. Not an option for me, I love the outdoors. If you're like me, try this. I have used this product along with BLUE LIZARD cream zinc oxide sunscreen, and OMG. I stayed out in the sun at the pool for 5 hours. Usually I'd have a terrible reaction, but I woke up the next morning with nothing. Next day, nothing. A week later, I am dumbfounded. Summer ready was recommended by my dermatologist. She was concerned regarding the amount of sun exposure I’ve had. I started using summer ready a week before I went for vacay to mexico.
