Nature's Answer Periobrite Alcohol-Free Mouthwash, Wintermint, 16 Ounce, 2 Count

Okay, warning, I'm a bit of a dork/health nut, I actually LIKE scents like citronella, and herbs that may be considered medicinal tasting or woodsy (I used to work at The Herb Bar in Austin, TX) and IF I think it's also GOOD for me? I'm sold! I'm in love (kind of how I base my relationships too - kidding ha ha). Okay, back to this mouth wash. What I LOVE: 1. It's GOOD for you and NATURAL - I have periodontal disease (basically my gums bleed and I have tarter build up). The herbs in this I feel really help my gums - my next dentist visit is 8/5/13 - so we will see but since using this I have been motivated to FLOSS (which I hate) at least 3 or 4x a week! 2. LOVE the taste - now - listen up? You listening? IF you do NOT like the taste of natural stuff i.e. herbs you will not like this - it does taste like herbal medicine - because that's what it is. IF you are used to the "blue stuff" (you know the brands) you will need some time to get used to this but I literally keep this in my mouth for 15 minutes (not sure if that's good or not...) But I love the taste. What I don't like 1. I wish it was a bit cheaper 2. I wish it came in a bigger bottle - because I'm addicted to it. By the way? I tried Dr. Katz TheraBreath Oral Rinse and I was like "What is this? Um? Water? I was SO disappointed - I actually had some remaining generic HEB mouthwash (blue mint is my favorite or WAS) and added it to this bc I'm too cheap to throw things out - it was the ONLY way I felt like I had something besides water in my mouth. ;-( Buck Periowash is it for me!!! I am hooked - LOVE this stuff!! Please make it in a bigger bottle!! Put it this way, I'm doing a lot of reviews today because I have some time at work (bad employee...I know) THIS product is one of MY favorite OUT of everything I have ordered ever on Amazon. And I've been on Amazon since hmmm...I think about 10 years? Anyway, I've spent WAY too much $$$ here (oh but I love you Amazon!!!) and it's saying A LOT when I say this is one of my favorite things I've every ordered. ***But remember, don't be mad at my review if you cannot handle the taste of herbs - if you spit your mouth wash out because it burns or doesn't taste good - you don't have the right stuff for this. ;-) NOT to say it burns, I'm saying it's got a nice, earthy, medicinal taste to it. Yeah!

If you're ANYTHING Like Me.. You want pure as possible ingredients, well,,, in anything RIGHT?!! Including something we use every day like Mouthwash...I tried making my own, but >> A).it didn't taste very good B.)it doesn't last very long, even when you keep it in the fridge & C.) it was still expensive with pure ingredients ... so I decided to get this mouthwash it seems to have the most pure ingredients of many I've researched, and more cost effective than my homemade as I had to keep throwing my homemade out every week when it went bad...and YES I made it "Right" did tons of research... ANYWAY.... some peeps said this isn't the same as it used to be as far as taste / strength ?? I wouldn't know it from "before" All I know is it seems very consistent to me and I've been using it for awhile now... and just received another order of it. I like that they send you 2 bottles, in 1 order so it can last awhile..and I find the flavor not over-powering but refreshing..it doesn't "burn" my mouth, just makes it feel clean and fresh... I Like that!! Hope this helps you because I had to do sooooo much research... took a long time... and I found this one the BEST!!! RECOMMEND!!!!

My husband says never run out of this stuff. My grandson and my husband at different times both had a painful tooth this cleared up whatever was going on.

I buy this mouthwash because I try to avoid using artificial chemicals and colorings. I am prone to getting canker sores - about two or three per month, minimum. While this mouthwash may not prevent a recurrence of sores, it certainly does not promote them and it seems to lessen the pain and the duration of the sores. I almost always get a sore right after I use a big brand name mouthwash. I would try to make my own mouthwash but this brand puts in so many quality ingredients already. I'm especially happy to see Echinacea, Green Tea Leaf, Goldenseal, Oregano, Coenzyme Q10 and Chlorophyll, which is about 1/3 of the ingredient list. I don't mind the herbal taste coupled with minty flavors. My only complaint is that the mint flavor does not last very long. I feel like my breath loses that fresh feeling soon after a gargle. For me, this is only a minor negative when considering a mouthwash. I prefer this to Jason, Tom's and Kiss My Face. Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil mouthwash would be an alternate if this product somehow disappeared from the market. Winter Mint is just as good as Cool Mint and I have not tried Cinna Mint. Definitely worth trying if you are looking for a natural, alcohol-free mouthwash.

This minty-fresh mouthwash does NOT have: * flouride * alcohol * SLS * artificial sweeteners * artificial preservatives * soy * gluten Soothing natural herbs are combined with CoQ10, folic acid, oregano, cinnamon, cloves, etc., etc., etc. to promote tooth & gum health. The flavor is distinctly unique. After I swish, my breath IS fresh & my mouth feels clean. BY THE WAY: IT DOES CONTAIN BLACK WALNUT SHELL EXTRACT. IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY TO TREE NUTS, THIS MOUTHWASH IS NOT FOR YOU.

Seems to work very well

I swear this stuff removes plaque. I put it in my electric flosser instead of water (will probs break it eventually). When I’m out of it I notice waaaay more plaque near my gum lines…P.s. Amazon didn’t bribe me to write this…I was bored and had time to write.

Schmeckt sehr angenehm, durch Zimt und andere Gewürze wird die nötige Schärfe erreicht. Erfrischt langanhaltend. eigentlicher Grund war, daß man es auch in die Munddusche einfüllen kann. Auch dies funktioniert problemlos

This mouthwash contains among other extras COq10 which helps strengthen gums. Helps prevent periodontal disease.

This product arrived weel packaged and as i'd already ordered it before i felt confident to re-order it, and i like the fact that it lasts a long time as i only use a capful at a time (and admittedly not religiously every day)! And i also chose it because its a potent mixture of herbal extracts and other natural ingedients and feels like its doing what its meant to be doing in terms of freshening the breath and reducing bacteria in the mouth/gums etc and it leaves a fresh tingly sensation in the mouth after use and as i actively try to avoid products that contain fluoride and chemical ingredients and alchohol etc, i love the fact that despite the higher cost of this mouthwash compared to the chemical/ far less natural options more widely available, i can rest assured that this product only contains natural ingedients proven to be effective for oral hygeine. Definately recommended for those who prefer natural ingredients.
