I bought this tension rod because I didn’t want to drill holes in my rental apartment's walls, and it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was incredibly quick and easy—no tools required. The tension mechanism is very strong and holds firmly to the wall without slipping, even with medium-weight curtains. It also looks great and has a modern finish. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended!

We purchased these to hang four panels of very heavy canvas blackout curtains that were 92 inches long. They are hung in the entryway of our church fellowship building to block out late evening sun. The rod was easy to install and has stayed in place with us opening and closing the curtains regularly. No sagging.

The rod is metal, very sturdy and easy to install, no hardware required. I used it for a bedroom window where I formerly had a shade. I wasn't sure that a curtain would be a permanent solution so I didn't want to make more holes in the window frame and this worked perfectly. Had I used one of the skinny tension rods sold for cafe type curtains, it would have dipped in the middle. This is a heavy duty rod, maybe overkill for my situation, but it looks great and was up in just a few minutes and I know it's not going to bend or come down when I tug on the curtains. You do end up with extra pieces if your window isn't the full 78" wide but I'll find a use for the extras!

I thought that this rod was spring loaded. Or maybe it expanded its length when tightening. It is not. You have to get the length exactly right in advance and then push it into place. Sturdy for sure, but not that easy to install.

Needed a rod for the end windows in my RV without having to drill into the wall. Worked perfectly and holds heavy blackout curtains well. No bow in the middle so far.

Purchased for 74" window span, they are in tight and snug with no sagging. The rod is 1 inch thick which is very tight for curtains with only a 1 inch rod pocket, get a larger rod pocket if you want your curtains to slide across the rod.

Looks good, strong and well made. I had ordered this rod to hang sheer curtains around the poolhouse but unfortunately bought the wrong size, not long enough, so am ordering another one. Keeping this shorter version for no doubt a later use :)
