Couldn't put it down!
Starr Ayers did it once again with her Book 2 of the Dream Beyond Tomorrow series. I couldn't wait for this book to come out, and it didn't disappoint. She drew me into the story on the first page, and I had trouble putting it down. There are twists and turns, and it kept me turning the pages. I was sad to finish the book. I just want the story to continue. Starr Ayers does a masterful job of drawing us into the lives of the characters and making us feel the emotions as if we were there. I hope there's a Book 3 in this series. Highly recommend!

Sweet, heartfelt romance
Starr Ayres did an excellent job finishing off Emma's story which she started in For the Love of Emma. You must read that one before you read Emma's Quest. The challenges and growth Emma experiences in Emma's Quest is all through the hand of God. Her faith and love for God is a great example of how God is always there for us. I highly recommend these two books and you will thoroughly enjoy them.

Beyond Wonderful!
Like many readers, I'm often skeptical about a sequel. Will it be as good? Will I like the characters and the plot? Well, this sequel knocked all those questions off the table. The author developed the characters with such depth and love that I was hooked from page one. I love how she dealt with Tucker's love for Emma even though it was bittersweet. Historical fiction is probably my favorite genre and Ayers is an expert.

World War II romance
Emma’s Quest is a tender time/slip novel by award winning author, Starr Ayers. Her first novel in her ‘Dream Beyond Tomorrow’ series introduced us to Emma Rose Walsh, a sweet, hard working young woman with hope singing in her soul. We continue Emma’s story of mystery and romance amid the uncertainty of war. Ayers deftly takes us on a journey that is both emotional and spiritual as a pair of sweethearts are tossed by the winds of war. This page turner takes the reader from small town North Carolina to the heathered hills of Scotland. The trip through time is well worth it.

Did not want this story to end
I enjoyed this sequel to For the Love of Emma as much and probably more so. I was totally immersed and did not want the story to end.I cried for Tucker’s losses but loved that he shared such a special friendship with Emma. Absolutely loved the ending between the grandchildren. Could there be another storyline here, Starr?Sign me…forever a fan…Jodi
