I bought this for my son to wear at work. He works in a building without air conditioning, cleaning. He LOVES it. He said it runs for a long time on a charge, it charges pretty quickly, and it's very effective at keeping him cool. He used it all summer, and it's still working great. He is very happy with it.

This works as I expected based on reviews here and from The Wirecutter, where it’s the top pick. I found the middle of the 3 speed settings the most comfortable without being too loud. Pros: it provides good cooling for my neck and face and helps all of me feel cool. The middle setting in particular is a good compromise between cooling and not being too loud. It lasts most of the day at thst setting before needing to recharge. Since I often work with a fan in me and my large screen tablet blocks thst fan from reaching my face and neck, this is a good addition to my arsenal of cooling products and it allows me to keep working, not needing me to hold it as my handheld misting fan does. Cons: it’s fairly heavy and would,be annoying around my neck if I were being active, rubbing my neck if I am doing more vigorous housework. I’d still use it but it would irritate. The highest speed is fairly noisy and it can be heard in a call or onscreen meeting. It also dries my eyes out, something I hadn’t considered when I bought it and as I wear contacts this is irritating. It also takes a long time to recharge, hours longer than I expected. I was expecting to take about 2 hours or less and it took about 7 hours. I’d buy it again with those caveats given that I don’t have air conditioning but it does have drawbacks.

Amazing ho a little breeze around your neck can make a huge difference in the heat. I love this thing in hot days. Worth every penny

I just received my neck fan and haven’t decided if it’s worth keeping. I bought this for a trip to California this June, because I am prone to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. It moves air sufficiently at its highest setting, but doesn’t cool the air much and was louder than I hoped. According to the app I used to measure its volume, it’s as loud as a “quiet street” at its highest (about 64db) and a “quiet home” (about 51db) on its lowest setting. I’m used to about 31db. Also, I’m “clinically obese”, and if I were any heavier I would feel like it was too close. I don’t think I’m going to keep it. It seems to be a good quality, and I was happy to see it uses a USB-C charger. The soft pink is the exact color I wanted and it doesn’t seem too heavy. Really my biggest concern is the noise. Being in public is noisy enough, I don’t want the noise of the fan to potentially block me from hearing my teen.
