Good fit
Works great, simple measurements and doable alone, but it helps to have a friend tighten the other side of the tower with you.

Bought for scion iM. Installed in yakima baseline towers just fine.

Great brand
Don’t waste your time buying a cheep car rack. Save up for mid or high range. Yakima car racks are great. Bought these base clips as part of a core bar system.

Excellent quality, so much easier to initially fit and mount to your car than the olden day roof racks, thanks to tables with exact measurements on the website and rulers or notches marked on the roof rack. Locks are obscenely overpriced, one star less for that. You should get cheaper matching locks on eBay.

Great product. Terrible shipping courier
The Yakima Base clip is great , the problem I have , is with Purolator they tried to deliver to the address, left a door knocker that said they would try again the next day. Never did , found out they took it to a Purolator drop off place 30 mins from my address!! Unacceptable. They lied then under my own expense had to retrieve my package. Do better Purolator.

Well built but designed awkwardly
Appears to be a very well built product. The design allows my Yakima Baseline Towers to fasten to the roof of my vehicle very securely (much better than the previous Q Towers I used in with my previous vehicle). I would have given a 5 star rating except for the fact that my previous Q Towers installed much quicker with no loose parts (clips) to lose or misplace. It's a shame that the best parts of both designs could not have been combined!
