I heard about this product at a motorcycle rally. There are quite a few products (in the category) on the market for bug & tar treatment. I can’t say I have tried them all but I can say this product by Meguiar’s works for me. Bug guts and tar are terrible for paint. What worked best for me is getting in the shade or waiting for the sun to set, then soaking a microfiber cloth in warm water and placing it over all the bug guts and let it soak for 5 minutes, then gently remove the microfiber cloth to prevent scratching, then spraying on this product and letting it set, then using a new / clean microfiber cloth to wipe off the bug guts and tar. I carry a can with me on all my motorcycle trips so I clean my bike after get to my motel / campground

I love to ride motorcycles. I've killed millions of bugs. Millions! Splattered all overy bike. If you're looking at this product you know how hard it is to get dried up big guys off of your vehicle. This works! It's not magic. You do have to use a little elbow greece, but not even close as to what you have to do without this spray. Make your life easier and your ride clean.

Does not remove tar as good as other products I have used. However it seems good on bugs

Absolutely love this stuff. I know there are higher rated products on here but most are 3 to 4x the price so I'll stick with this for now as it seems to work great for me. I wet the car. Spray this and let it soak for about a minute and then everything comes right off. Awesome cleaning power!

do not buy this or any other product from this supplier. I received this stuff and it will not sray, i have wasted my money. I gave it one star only because that is as low as I can go, otherwise it would be rated -5stars.

1600 miles round trip along I-70 and ended up with a load of bug guts on windshield and front of car. This was on sale and almost half the price of another brand I'd seen recommended. Honestly I think no matter what you use you'll need a LOT of elbow grease and multiple applications. This worked much better on the windshield than the paint or plastic parts of front/hood of car. Gets an average 3 star rating thanks in part to it making my car at least not gross me out when I see it and also because it rinsed off super easily with a hose. I think using something abrasive to scrub the guts off would be much more efficient but obviously you can't really do that on a car. Directions said microfiber cloth but I used a soft paper towel. It did remove a lot of guts that two different absolutely downpours didn't even touch. Oh, it smells nice.

This works very well to remove bugs. Some scrubbing is required.

I live in the country, and the battle to remove bugs never ends in the summer! I have tried many different types of bug removal products, so far, this is one of the best ones I've found. It foams up really well, and does not run or dry too quickly. It seems to adhere long enough to get the bugs dissolved enough that it makes them easy to remove.

Tried it on Tar Removing, and it failed Big-Time, unfortunately, as I've purchased it only to remove some Tar traces on my car body. I followed the instructions as stated, twice, yet, not impressive. Possibly works better on Bugs, didn't try it, bit definetly won't buy it again not would recommend it for Tar Removal. If no star is allowed, I would give it.
