Review: Multi-focal lenses are UPSIDE DOWN! - I've used Foster Grant multifocal readers for several years, always getting the same model until this last purchase of the Sawyer. I purchased the Sawyer model this time so I could increase the max magnification from 3.0 to 3.5 (3.5 wasn't available in my previous model). When I first put them on, I noticed that I was having a hard time find the right position, but figured I would adjust after a few days. It has now been a few weeks, and I realized that I've still adjusting them alot and have also been getting headaches. So, I paid a bit more attention to what was going on and realized that the "sense" of these multi-focals is different from the other Foster Grant readers I have been using for several years. You would expect the "near" vision to be at the bottom of the lens, so you can look down at a book for instance, and that the "far" vision part of the lens would be at the top (so you can drive while looking straight ahead). These glasses are backwards! I confirmed by comparing with my old F-G glasses. Is this a manufacturing defect, or some geniuses "feature"? Either way, I'm not at all pleases with my new purchase. I would have sent it back if I had understood sooner what the problem is. This is pretty ridiculous! Review: I can see. - These glasses work as well as my 500.00 prescription glasses do. The only drawback is that the lenses are thicker which makes the entire eyeglasses heavier and if I wear them for hours and hours at a time they have a tendency to make the bridge of my nose sore. Other than that they're great

I can see.
