Favorite Lure
Tried various lures from many manufacturers, with unique shapes and vibrations, in calm or rough waters, at different times of the day. Among them, Captain Jay’s trolling/diving lure is one of my favorite for boat fishing. Excellent quality, strong and sharp hooks! Highly recommended!

This will catch fish
Don't know what I latched into with this thing, but it broke braid with a mono leader. It clearly catches big fish. Fishing ain't free, got to donate a lure here and there.

Could not get the lure to troll correctly
The lure looks great with very strong hooks.. but maybe it was my rigging I was trolling with 150 pound mono leader could have effected the action… The lure continue to skip out of the water no matter how far back I put it behind the boat..

Definitely not worth the money. Does not run correctly, does not dive, just comes back to the surface and gets wrapped up consistently at any speed

This is a good lure
The lure works very well! Great quality , with super strong Japanese triple hooks ,its also a good size for all saltwater game fish. No more ballyhoo rigging needed. We love it all ! Highly recommend.

This is a waste of money if you don't know how to tweak it forbit to work properly.
This is a waste of money. Does not swim well in the water. Keeps swimming to one side and keeps popping up out of the water at higher speeds. Does not dive down. Don't waste your money like I did. I'm editing my review. To be fair, after tweaking this lure it worked great but I still think it should have worked straight out of the package. So instead of the intial one star I'll give three.

Quality product
The price is a little bit higher, but the quality of Capt.Jay’s products is worth it! The Japanese treble hook is super strong. Well made.
