Does this have sony hi-res audio?

There is no such thing as "hi-re audio" when specifying the performance of a speaker, and if a company advertises such a thing they are using an advertising gimmick. The speaker industry uses several specifications to quantify the performance of their speakers, and the most important is their frequency range which is the frequencies that the speaker will project withing the range of +/- 3 db. Sony claims a frequency range for these speakers of 45 Hz to 50KHz which is quite good. If you want better performance, suggest you supplement these speakers with a sub-woofer to extend the frequency range down to about 22 Hz. Only a sub-woofer is capable of performing down to such a low frequency.
