Nassau is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and it also offers some of the best beaches, watersports, shopping, drinking, and diving you'll find anywhere. The Insider's Nassau Travel Guide has been written with the reader in mind, as it provides an array of information to help you find the best spots to spend your time and money. The author himself has made many trips to Nassau and has put all his tips into this short but informative read. Review: Nice book and it will come in handy going to ... - Nice book and it will come in handy going to Nassau for the 2nd time. Lots of good info, definitely. The author asks for suggestions so here goes: 1) we are staying at Atlantis at the Reef Tower, and this tower is missing from the list for Atlantis Hotel Accommodations. 2) maps of where all these places are would help. I have google maps on my iPhone and I was able to punch in the shops, beaches, or restaurants in the search box and it pullled up just fine. Without this, I would be lost with just the book. 3) where do you go to take a boat ride? Cruises have these options; not sure how to get to Blue Lagoon if you stay on island. 4) more pictures would be cool 5) maybe a section on "what not to do" or places to avoid Great book. We visited last year by cruise but did not like the 4-5 hours we had on the island so we decided to fly in this year for several days. Review: Waste of money - This is a 52 page book with lots of blank space and could have been written by a high school senior. It provides no unique information. Save the money for a rum drink and surf the web.

Too general.
I was hoping to get more on the historic district -what to see and a map of where things for.

Short. Waste of money
I expected some real insights on Nassau. There are non. Only the most obvious such as this beach or that. Most of the โguideโ focuses on Atlantis resort which we are no visiting.

I dig it. It's a short guide, but has good info.
I go to Nassau every few years and am always looking to see what's new there. With the launch of the Baha Mar Resort, there's going to be a lot more stuff opening up, and this guide gives you some good off the beaten path spots to stay. The book's a bit short, but I recommend it for putting on your phone or iPad, as it's easy to navigate to good spots to find spots to each, relax, or drink at.

Disappointed
I was disappointed in this purchase. The information provided is general and did not help with our vacation planning. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does provide some information. A larger guide which includes all of the Bahamas would provide better information on Nassau.

Nassau specific
It wasn't easy to find a book that focuses solely on Nassau. What to do, where to shop, good places to eat, etc. AND, I learned that prices can be negotiated. That fact paid for the book!

Useless guide
Unless you plan to visit Atlantis this guide is petty much useless. It is half full of Atlantis promo and says you have to purchase tickets to most attractions. It doesn't however tell you any prices probably because they are ridiculously expensive.

Great & easy guide book
Good guide for travellers. This is the exact style book I was looking for. Very informative but short and to the point. Guide is divided into sections which makes it easy to find what your looking for and an easy read. This arrived after our visit to Nassau however we still read the book and enjoyed it.

Like a childโs story book, aimed at young children. I will be returning it.
Very disappointed
