This is NOT what I expected & I am very disappointed.
I was excited to receive these paint brushes but my excitement turned into disappointment. One brush was broken so I had to glue it together in order to use it. I used it a few days later and the bristles kept falling out of the paintbrush onto the paper. The picture in this review has 15 bristles on it! The other 3 brushes are fine but that still does not make up for the defects with the 4th brush.

Flat 1 inch unusable
I bought this set in order to get the largest brush in particular. As soon as I opened it and started painting with it, the metal end popped off the wooden handle. I figured that was easy enough to fix, so I used some wood glue and set it back on. The next day I used it again and while the handle was now firmly in place, the hairs of the brush fell out with each stroke. I was painting gesso, which dries rather quickly so I had to try to pick the hairs out off my page, scraping up the gesso as I did. Unfortunately, this brush is completely unusable. :(

Brushes fell apart when opening the package.
I love Dina's products normally. These brushes were a disappointment, falling apart right as I was opening the package. I re-glued them with super glue. We'll see how they hold up. I use my brushes for mixed-media, which means lots of different acrylic mediums. My brushes take some abuse; not sure these are going to stand up to it.

A bit disappointing
Several years ago, I bought a single Dina Wakley paintbrush and I love it. So I bought this set. However, as I was opening the package, the 1" brush fell apart. I was able to put the handle back into the ferrule. While I was using it to spread gesso, many hairs (like, a dozen) fell out of the brush. I don't know if the manufacturer changed, or what happened, but this was a bit disappointing. I hope the other 3 from the pack are better.

Unusable.
Don't buy these brushes. The individual hairs come loose and get in your paint. I thought that at firsts it was going to be just a few hairs but after a few swipes, my art journal was littered with brush hairs. I had to get out the tweezers and pick them out. I knew they were going to be cheap, but I didn't realize they were unusable. Waste of money.

Not great quality
I was disappointed in the construction of these brushes. I put paint on the 1 brush for the first time and the top fell off when I tried to put the paint on the canvas. I already had paint on it so I tried to use it, and bristles were falling out. The other brushes have stayed together for now, but they don't feel sturdy.

Disappointed
The first clue that something was wrong was that the ferrule had fallen off the handle of the biggest brush inside the packaging. No problem I thought, just push it back on and give it a little squeeze with some pliers. However, the ferrule of the second biggest brush came loose while picking up paint, even though I had checked it before using. Again with the pliers. The thing that really makes these brushes unusable though is that the hairs keep falling while painting. I wish everyone more luck with their set than I've had with mine.

Very good assortment
I like the sizes of the brushes in this assortment, something for many different project details. i also like using synthetic brushes for acrylic paints as they seem to clean up a lot nicer/quicker than actual animal hair brushes. i recommend this assortment to artists/crafters

Save your money - Poor quality
Had such high hopes for these but the bristles came out and the head came off the largest flat brush on first use. Not what i expected for this brand. Update: the smallest brush is disintegrating. The bristles were all different lengths anyway so it was useless for fine detail and they are now falling out after one day of use! The generic set I bought for my child are better quality than these and much much cheaper!

Good brushes for an amateur artist
Very handy brushes for a variety of mixed media art projects. I was a bit miffed that the price went down just after I bought them though 😂

Very poor quality not what you expect from Ranger
Very poor quality, head wasn't attached to the handle and there is a lot of shedding ,NOT what you need when glueing.
