elago Silicone Cover for Google Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor (Battery)

Black cover for the Google security cam is perfect. I did not want the white camera up looking like a beacon that everybody could see. It fit perfect it was easy to put on. Glad I made this purchase

Awesome product. I've been using mine for 3 years and they are still going strong. No issues whatsoever. Very easy to put on, as well. It does a great job camouflaging my cameras against my brown house.

Quality pure silicone, nice black color. This is a quality sleeve to put over your Nest/Google Battery cams. I wanted my white camera to disappear into our black trim and this did the trick!. Fits well and exact-form-fitted, you'll see only a slight inner white line showing at the front lip of the camera opening, just as the images show, but that doesn't bother me at all. I've bought 4 already, plan to buy more for the rest of my cameras.

I liked this product because it can fit both the google nest wireless cams and the wired floodlight. It comes with a base cover if you are using it for the wireless cams too. While I have both camera types I opted to try this brand because I previously purchased Wasserstein camera covers and the image quality is severely impacted at night. The glare on those makes a hazey view with night vision sometimes making it difficult to see anything. However, this Elago cover doesn’t provide any flashback and provides all of the same if not better protection by encasing the whole camera in silicone (excluding the face). Now I feel comfortable protecting the floodlight from the elements and don’t have to sacrifice my camera view because let’s face it that’s the point of quality security cameras, the functionality. Don’t waste your time on cheaper alternatives. Just Buy It!

1年半前にGoogle Nest Camと一緒に購入し、日当たりの良い玄関脇の壁に設置しました。壁が茶系なので同化することを期待して装着しましたが、馴染みが良くいまだに監視カメラの存在に気づいた訪問者はいません。 直射日光を受けたことによる目立った劣化も見られません。

カメラを屋外で使用する場合、落下・盗難防止カバーを付けていると思います。こちらのカバーを取り付けると、このカバーが入らなくなります。迂闊でした。モノとしてはイメージ通りでしたが、この点を見逃していました。どちらを優先するかですね。私は落下・盗難防止を優先したいので、こちらのカバーは断念しました。

画像は良い時と悪い時と不安定です！動物を検知するのはすごいと思いました！隣のおばあちゃんも動物として検知されました（笑） 充電する時になかなか充電が始まらないところがだけが原点ポイントです！
