Great evaporative cooler!
We recently moved into a house in the mountains of Colorado, and most homes up here do not have a/c, including our house. With the windows closed all day while at work, the temp was getting up to 75-77 during the later afternoon hours (outside temps have been about 80, but lots of direct sunlight on the front of the house and coming in through the upper windows). When we get home, we open the windows and have the unit a foot or so in front of one. Even with only filling the unit with cold well water, it works great. Haven't needed to try the freezer packs. Cools the living room/dining room/kitchen area down to 68 or so within 30-45 min. The oscillating function really helps to make it feel cooler in the area 10-15 feet out from the unit. On it's highest setting, it has about the same noise level as a regular box fan on high. After two weeks of use, I took the back cover off to clean down inside the tank (pretty easy to do with only four screws to remove). Even with us using well water in it, there was only a very light film to clean in the bottom of the tank. Super easy to roll the unit into the kitchen to fill from the sink sprayer. I would definitely recommend this unit. So far, it's been worth every penny.

Works well in our 100sqft patio.
Good construction, reasonable airflow and cooling. Plastic casters are only weak point I see. We'll see what happens next season.

Works really well until the water warms up (a suggestion for optimizing cold)...
What these swamp coolers really need is a function that keeps the water cool because as soon as the water warms up, this becomes pretty useless. It works fantastic when the water is cold, but you'll likely run into the same problem I was in warm weather where the water gets too warm over time, even with the ice packs, and it begins to not work as well for cooling. What I suggest is this: if you will be using it for a long time like all day, don't fill the tank all the way. Fill it half-way and then fill it again later on with cold water and a new cold ice pack. That way, you aren't working with warm water the second half of the day. That issue aside, this does work very well with cold water. It almost feels air-conditioner-cold at first. It has a powerful air flow, too. I do like it a lot, I just wish it had a feature that keeps water cool! EDIT: A few days later, and both my ice packs split in the freezer, just like everyone else's. Sort of ridiculous that they include such horrible ice packs with this machine. I ordered six of these ice packs in Mini size (three of them fit in the top reservoir perfectly so I got three extras to keep cool while the first three are in use so I can rotate them): Igloo Performance Ice Blocks - Mini . They last much longer than the ice packs that came with this machine! I highly recommend that you get them, too.

Nothing more than an expensive fan.
I have to say that I am really disappointed in this product. According to most of the reviews I read, all were positive and mentioned how the evaporator cooler was cooling for them. I bought this product to replace a box fan I had in my garage for my two dogs that can come and go through a pet door. Summer is here and the garage is hot now and the fan wasnโt cutting it. So I ordered the evaporator cooler in hopes it would make the garage a little more cooler for my dogs, but it did not happen. The box fan that I replaced (which is going back in the garage ) blew more air and the air actually felt cooler. The ice blocks made no difference as well as I can judge. The product is well made, but doesnโt live up to the hype in my opinion. To me it is just a high priced fan and very disappointing performance. I will probably buy a small ac unit for the garage. If anything changes I will do an update, but it doesnโt look promising.

Works great in the Arizona desert.
I'm very pleased with this purchase. I live in the Arizona desert and have run this every day for about 2 weeks. So far this has done a rather nice job of keeping me cool outside on my patio at its lowest setting and without use of the ice packs. I do anticipate that as summer gets underway and temps hit 115 degrees, I'll be using a higher fan setting. Setup was easy, the ice packs are a really nice add on, and I love having a remote for this unit. The best part is that I can fill from the top or via an adapter, and the top has plenty of room to add ice cubes in addition to one of the 2 included ice packs. (Haven't tried that yet but sure to do so by July!) I had also bought a larger and more expensive name brand unit and this one seems to be far nicer. Given that we have very hard water, I purchased some demineralization strips to use. They are easy to add since water pumps through the top of the unit. My only concern is that because we have such hard water, we may need to replace the filters every year and I cannot figure out how we will order new filters. I do have an email out to the manufacturer with that question. My only complaint is that I paid about $40 more for this unit about 2 weeks ago than the deal that is currently running on it today. Wish I'd gotten the better price! Nonetheless, I'm keeping this jewel of a cooler.

2100cfm swamp cooler
This is a edit from my original review. This company had reached out to me to rectify all my concerns. I didn't have to call them. Once we determined the issues they sent me videos, Instructional information and in the end, they sent me a brand new unit. This is a great unit. I would in fact by another as I have another area to place it. As I said, they reached out to me and not visversa. So the new unit, out of the box, plugged and played as intended. No special attachments needed as it was all supplied when the box arrived. Once they said a new unit was coming it arrived in 5 days The cooling unit is being used in a two car garage and is working as they said it would. The price is great and compared to others this is a buy in my opinion. Recommend this name brand as they have stepped up and resolved any issue I had and quickly. If you need a unit, this brand is a great choice. Tom B-Las Vegas

Works well. It's NOT an air conditioner. Freeze Packs are cheap that come with it.
The product is really quite. I purchased one to try out in my shop for my employees to see how they liked it. The unit definitely cools the air. In the humid southern climate (South of Atlanta) it did cool the air and was better than a fan blowing hot air, the cooler air did make a difference. Employee put an ice pack in the top of the unit and changed it out at lunch. Now speaking of the ice packs. They are worthless as far as quality goes. People in other reviews complained about it and I didn't think to much about it. However, after purchasing a total of 3 of these units within 3 days of each other every single ice pack for all three units has busted in the freezer after the 3rd or 4th time being froze. I am going to call the MFG and see what they say about it. I have other ice packs that I can use and will keep all 3 units.. But the reviews about the ice packs (they come with 2 each). (I got a total of 6 ice packs, and all but one has bust). all of them busted at different locations.

Works as expected
Good little swamp cooler works as expected to work, seems to put out the CFM it claims. seen negative reviews about this and others if you are new to swamp coolers these work by pulling air across water-soaked pads; The best i ever seen a swamp cooler do is 20 degrees lower than outside temp. These will add water to the air to help cooling these do not work in high humid areas because of this. recommend using the hose option as fast as possible as it keeps the water level lower, and sense these cool the water with how they work and then store a few gallons of water the lower the water level the better as these is less water warming up while sitting and the hose will trickle water as needed versus adding gallons at a time. DO NOT EXPECT AIR CONDITIONING RESULTS FROM A SWAMP COOLER

Enfrรญa bastante bien y es prรกctico

rubber stops on unit can pop out if you brush up against them but thats a very small issue
When I first got the AC I was shocked as to how big it was as I was expecting something the size of a garbage can. After un packing it and setting it up (which didn't take long at all) I turned on the unit and was met with the coldest breeze I had felt all summer, I was very happy with it and then my landlord/friend pushed a button and the AC kicked in and the air got cold real quick. I have been using the AC in my room when I sleep and in my game room when I play VR or just want to play a game or enjoy a movie. This is the BEST thing I have ever gotten and in this heat right now with temperatures here in Alberta Canada almost in the mid 30s early 40s range...this is a godsend of a device. I Do not regret purchasing and if I had more cash I would have bought a second one. Easy to use and the big fan blows nice cold air outwards and the the huge reservoir tank keeps things cool for a good 5 hours or more. Be aware this unit is not to be used in huge rooms as its not quite that strong to cool that room quickly, this unit is best used in a small room or bedroom or even a medium sized theater or game room. Works best with ice packs and cold water from a bathtub run into a small sized pail or ice cream bucket. Not certain how it would work outdoors at is does come with a garden hose attachment. Energy wise I will find out if this unit uses up a lot of electricity or not when the bill comes in that is one thing more people never talk about when doing a review. Still a fantastic Portable AC that for the price asking is a good investment on a truly hot summer.

Fantastic AC Cooler
I live in a warm Condo and this is perfect and works excellent. It cools my place and works so good. Once you fill it up with water and DONโT EVER OVER FLOW the water or it will spill through the sides. Use it as a cool fan but when you want it ice cold put a freezer pack in the top and WOW does it get colder and right away. I love this unit and near a window or not it works fantastic. Thank you for making such a great unit. Ron from Canada.
