Orajel Antiseptic Mouth Sore Rinse, 16 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I love this stuff, I found a couple years ago that if I use it when I have a bad tooth or just a toothache, it will not only help with the pain, it will help with the swelling and then when I go to the dentist, I don't have to wait to have my tooth pulled, while their antibiotics work to kill and infection I got waiting to see the dentist, instead I use this, the Antiseptic version, for few days, to a week, and the swelling goes down, and the tooth doesn't hurt anymore. I can just going to the dentist to get the tooth pulled if need be, the same day, rather then wait for another week or more for the infection to go away. But, my only problem now is, at least the Orajel Store here has stopped actually selling the Antiseptic version Amazon, they have the non septic ones, but not the Antiseptic, and the non septic to me isn't much better then mouthwash. Except mouth wash has alcohol in it, so at least it might help kill germs more. I really don't understand why they wont sell this one anymore, they seem to still have it in stores, but since I am disabled, I can't get out to my local stores, so I have to have everything delivered to me, but Walmart is too expensive for their delivery, Walgreens has it for nearly twice the price of Walmart, even without the delivery, I mean Walmart is $6.99, and Walgreens is $11.99, and then we have the delivery fees, which can get up to $20 bucks with Walmart, and with Walgreen being so much more, it comes to about the same with them, around $20. Here with my Prime, I was able to get 3 for the amount I would pay for 1 from the other two stores. I really wish Orajel would just put the antiseptic version back on here, especially with Amazon trying to push other brands on me, all saying they are antiseptic, when they don't even say it on the bottles, I know since I made the mistake and bought others, one from Colgate and another by ACT, and still also one made by Amazon, which at first I thought was their version of the antiseptic of Orajel, but then I noticed it has no alcohol in it, and it talks of being good for teeth, and nothing really about canker sores, which is what this one is originally for. So luckily I saw that and didn't buy Amazons rinse, which is just the same thing that Colgate and ACT is, which is just for teeth really, not having to do with sores in your mouth or anything. Its like false advertising, or maybe more like just lying. I frankly think the others are taking advantage of people like me who are looking for this one, by pretending their rinse does the same thing Orajel's Antiseptic Rinse does, when it doesn't, not even close. So maybe Orajel should put their REAL antiseptic rinse back on here, and get the money that people are spending on knockoffs, or heck not even a knock offs, since they're not even for the same thing. So please Orajel, bring back your Antiseptic Mouth Sore Rinse to Amazon, so I don't have to pay Walmart or Walgreens $20 or more just to get 1 bottle!

The Orajel Antiseptic Mouth Sore Rinse really helps soothe my mouth sores. It provides quick relief and keeps the area clean, making eating and drinking much more comfortable. Highly effective!

I use an inhaler for my COPD and was told by the pharmacist it can cause mouth sores if I do not rinse out my mouth after inhaling. I did not take heed initially and sure enough mouth sores. Started using Orajel immediately and it worked. I now use it twice a day. Be sure you don’t swallow it. I swoosh it around in my mouth paying close attention to the front of my mouth where the sores were previously. It has been months and no sores. The taste is nice and not overpowering.

This is a product that I first bought locally and used very often. When the time came to replace my original purchased product, I could no longer find it locally. Consequently, because I really like this product, I ordered it from Amazon at a much better value than I had paid when I originally purchased it locally. It was delivered very promptly, and the product's quality is superb. Because I personally must take many medications, I regularly experiennce "mouth sores" and "dry mouth". This product, Orajel Mouthwash for Sore Mouths has helped my mouth condition immensely, and Amazon has made relief from that condition much better!

I love this stuff. It works, especially if I bite myself, I start using it, it sometimes prevents my wound become a sore. The only thing I really wish it could be better is the cap design. After using it, I have to shake really well to get the residual liquid out, because if I don’t, when you close the cap back on to the bottle, it will drip and get sticky. I don’t know why they haven’t come up with a better design like other mouse wash companies out there?

So, two quick points: 1. The long term solution to the canker sore problem, for me, was the disinfect the toothbrush every time I was done brushing. For me, this meant just having a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and giving the toothbrush a couple sprays after each brushing. This breaks the germ cycle - it prevents the germs that come out of your mouth at brush time from having a wet environment, and no germ defenses from your body fighting them, getting stronger on the brushhead until you put them BACK into your mouth. Ask a dentist, they know this solves the issue for most people. 2. So I got rid of canker sores with that - went from almost always having at least one in my mouth to having 3-4 of them a year, with just the above solution. HOWEVER, I recently had to get treated for TMJ. They make you a mouthpiece you use for several months, keep it in your mouth all the time, to take pressure off of the joint. Well, as soon as I started taking this in and out of mouth every day, the sores came back. BIG TIME. I was always having 3-4 of them in the mouth. So I bought this stuff to help - AND.... they have been GONE! Have not had a single one in 2 months now, starting as soon as I used this the first day, they went away and never came back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The only thing that has helped my condition. Glad this product is working.

Took two weeks but denture sore is now gone. Will buy again when needed.
