Comfortable to use and does seem to always keep the lead point focused.
Comfortable to use and does seem to always keep the lead point focused. Making all words the same level of sharpness.Quality seems to be of great and should last a long time.I have a surplus of major brand lead so I can't expand on this brand of lead. It only came with 1 lead and it seemed fine and erased easily if I had to erase something.I would like this available in a thicker lead .9 and even a 1.3 .Because it rotates lead on it's own; you don't have to rotate the actual pencil. That means you wont have to worry about the metal holder poking or rubbing on neighboring fingers.Highly recommend this product.

Really nice pencil
I’ve been using the uni Kuru Toga Advance for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how smooth it writes. The lead stays sharp, so my handwriting always looks clean without any scratchy feeling. It’s also surprisingly light, which makes it super comfortable to use even for long writing sessions. The grip feels just right—not too bulky or slippery—and the whole pencil just has a nice, balanced feel in the hand. Definitely one of the best mechanical pencils I’ve used for everyday note-taking and writing.

Best Mechanical Pencil I Have Ever Used.
As the title says, this is the best mechanical pencil I have ever used and is 100% worth the price. I used to only use standard pencils, as I've always had issues with mechanical pencils, especially with the lead becoming dull, but this pencil solves that issue. The rotating mechanism works very well and keeps up with my writing, which tends to be quite fast. The pencil is also a bit heavy, which I like, as it sits in my hand a bit nicer and feels well-made. The only thing I don't like about the pencil is the lack of ergonomics or a soft grip. Writing for a long period of time can become a bit uncomfortable, but not as bad as others I have used. I would recommend this pencil.

Smooth, Precise, and Perfect for Daily Writing
This mechanical pencil makes writing feel effortless. I use it daily in my journal, and the smoothness of the lead combined with the rotating Kuru Toga mechanism keeps every line consistent and sharp with no uneven edges or constant sharpening. The balance and grip are excellent, giving it a premium feel that makes long writing sessions comfortable. The 0.7mm lead glides perfectly across the page without breaking, and the overall build quality feels solid and reliable. It’s both functional and elegant, with a clean white design that looks great on any desk.If you enjoy journaling or note-taking and appreciate precision tools, this pencil is a must-have. It’s one of those everyday items that quietly becomes a favorite.

Would Buy Again!
This mechanical pencil has a really smart feature I’ve never seen before — it rotates the lead slightly every time you write, which helps keep the tip consistently sharp. It might sound like a small thing, but it makes a big difference, especially if you’re doing a lot of writing or drawing and want clean, precise lines. What I Liked:- The rotating lead mechanism actually works and keeps the point from wearing down unevenly- Comfortable to hold and write with for long periods- Great for writing, sketching, or detailed work that needs a fine point- Cheap in comparison to other pencils like this In the marketWhat Could Be Better:It would be nice if it came with a few extra leads or a case, but that’s not a big dealUnfortunately, I have no pictures of the pencil, and I can't snap a picture because I lost it at school... Planning on buying it again, though!

Use 3/4 length of the leads
Good quality pencil, feel it light.Major drawback is that the lead that wear down to 1/2 inch long don't come out from nib. Less eco friendly for color leads.

WRITING SOLUTION
This review is after 3 months of using this pencil. I mostly use it for writing, especially taking notes—college-level notes, iykyk. I do have a heavy hand, so this has become one of my favorite pencils thus far.PROs- lead rotates, so you always get a consistent and dark lead.- never have the problem of a slanted lead & then your writing becoming lighter- best for heavy-handed writers, the lead will shrink back in, or I can describe it as you will feel like the lead "springing" back into the actual chamber to protect the lead from breaking; unless you're just experimenting & intentionally break the lead any way you desire- appreciate that this pencil is light weight (IMO)- appreciate that you can retract the lead, & the tip back into the chamber so it will not snag any cloth in your pencil pouch/bag- smudge-proof (even after going through it w/ a highlighter &/or running my finger through what I had just written)- The cap that holds the eraser at the end does not easily come off. You really have to pull the cap to access the eraser and pull the eraser to access the opening for lead insertion.CONs- There is not a lot of grip assistance, for example. Like a rubber holder However, for me, this is a minor issue b/c I have a death grip when writing. This can be a major con for others such as those who- a tiny eraser at the end, but is not a major flaw; I would recommend to get a separate eraser, (Japanese brand never fails & lasts long)

Estupendo. Imprescindible.

Best mechanical pencil
I've been using the Kuru Toga pencil for a few weeks now and I'm genuinely impressed. The rotating lead mechanism is a game-changer; it keeps the tip consistently sharp, which means no more inconsistent line thickness or smudged writing. It's comfortable to hold and feels sturdy. If you're tired of flat, dull pencil tips, this is a must-buy.

Best pencil for mechanical pencil lovers
I absolutely love the Uni Kuru Toga mechanical pencil — so much that I now own six of them. It’s easily the best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used. The unique rotating lead mechanism keeps the tip sharp and consistent, which makes a huge difference for both writing and drawing. The grip is comfortable, and the pencil feels sturdy and well-made, with a sleek, modern design I really appreciate. While it’s a bit pricier than standard mechanical pencils, the quality is absolutely worth it. I keep one in my backpack, my office, and my home because I can’t go without it. Highly recommend for students, artists, or anyone who writes a lot.
