Why did you choose this product over others?: I absolutely love these. I paid £23 for 6 and have about 12 of them around my garden on the fence posts. At their brightest setting they completely illuminate my garden on sensor mode. They are solar powered and whilst previous products I have bought have failed eventually, these I’m happy to say have lasted and continue to charge/work as expected, even in shady areas. You can fit with either the sticky adhesive or a screw (all supplied) but screws are always better so invest in the time to screw them in. Good product, good price, great illumination and functionality. Highly recommended!

I’ve had these a while , still going strong , great bright lights and the choice of settings to let you get the best out of them

Bought these a few weeks ago on 2nd nov all six units ok on receipt after a week on south facing front of house one unit kept falsely triggering light on and no Compared to some I bought two years ago that are on my fence in the north side of the house still working well. So these lights worked well and gave out a good output but I don’t think the solar array is good enough to charge the batteries on a very overcast day . My opinion as a electronic engineer is that the modes of operation when working mounting on a south facing wall to get maximum direct sunlight I don’t think the solar array is big enough but having said that they seem to do well on south and east facing walls overcast days don’t think enough charge is getting into the solar array would benefit from a larger solar array Then I think these would be great . I’m shaw these would be perfect in a Mediterranean climate that has more winter bright sunlight. Update on above having fitted the spare units in other areas around the garden they seem to get enough charge from daylight obviously cloudy days can reduce the amount they get charged but all in after giving these a few months they aluminate my driveway gate posts and front door and the external garage wall the pir sensitivity is quite good sometimes a bus passes triggered them but I found masking the top of the sensor helped with false triggers from passing traffic I am happy with the purchase and what they where purchased and intended for .

I have a few sets of these lights around my large garden. They are great to illuminate anywhere I want to traverse in darkness. However, I've noticed that the lights that I have facing North are very dull when triggered on a night whereas the lights which are fixed to the South or West of the property are always very bright when triggered on a night. That tells me that the batteries aren't properly charging on the lights which are North facing whereas the batteries which are in the lights West or South facing are charging properly and are able to deliver a proper bright light when they are triggered. Therefore my advice would be to fix these lights on the South facing side of your property to your house and fix the lights on the North side of your house on trees / walls / buildings away from the house which are South facing and firing the light back toward the house. If you understand the basics of how solar lights work you'll understand that.

brought these lights in 2022 very bright sensors spot on. Nearly 5 years on and still going strong. So had to purchase more for the back of my garden where the fox keeps climbing over to eat my ducks. If they last as long as these I’ll be happy and if it scares the foxes off even better 🦊 only leaving this review because I had to go to previous orders to find the lights to re buy. After this many years this is a worthy review 💡

The give out a nice light.

Installing the units is straight forward. I set up the units for mode 3 sensor light mode. Unfortunately I only installed them four weeks after receiving them as one of the units stays permanently on during dusk. All the other units work as per design. I did consider the possibility of location for the faulty unit so I swapped it out with a working unit but it still stays permanently on its new location. The working unit swapped over to its ‘new’ location is working as per design. This proves the unit is indeed faulty. Today I considered contacting the seller but I missed the 30 day return limit. If you purchase these units I recommend you install them ASAP to prove their functionality. A lesson learnt for me! If I had 6 workable units I would have rated them as 5 star as the light intensity is impressive and the time duration on detection of movement is ideal.
