It’s about 3 inches but there is a slight platform in the front about an inch so it’s more like 2 inches. Very comfortable!

What does the w size mean? wide at toes or wide at the ankle? i ordered 7.5 w, but my toes are squished together.

Make sure you look at the size inside the shoe. I ordered a 7 W and the shoes were actually 7 M. They were way too narrow for me and I had to return them. Sad because they are so cute.
