Love the grill but expensive. This brand tends to trip circuits however.. It has happened at three different homes.

I bought this grill in 2023, but I was not inspired until I had to replace a part this past week. I googled the error code, contacted the manufacturer, and I had a replacement part within a few days. With less than an hour of work, it was replaced, and I was back up and running. I have made amazing steaks, brisket, chicken, and veggies with this smoker. It’s so easy to use, and it does a great job. The one tip I would give anyone is to get the cover for it to keep it dry when it rains, because rain can break down the pellets and cause them to burn, instead of smoking, but I absolutely would recommend this grill to anyone who wants something they can just “fuel and forget” with great results!

Well ladies and gents, if you are anything like me, love to grill and smoke food, been wanting to get ahold of that Traeger but hate the price point, been told the best in the world is a pellet grill to get that mid ground of smoking and grilling, well I am going to disappoint you with this. First I would never buy it again. For so many reasons, and just to let you know, I gave it away for free to someone who wanted a grill. To start with they say it will sear, it does NOT get hot enough to sear. Even when pulling the sear shield deal out the way, it simply does not get hot enough. As a matter of fact there is a temperature it will reach and turn itself off. Was extremely thrilled with the design awaiting the light colored smoke to come plowing out of the chimney. Yeah that smoke came out of everywhere, this thing does not seal at all. It is literally a flat on flat surface where it closes. So smoke just plows out of everywhere. Quirky as all get out with error codes, which had me restarting the thing to get it going. Nothing is flush, as in the construction is absolutely terrible down to the doors. Literally one side is half inch higher than the other side. Packaging, I would almost bet they pride theirselves on because how compacted it is and nothing moves. Have fun with unpacking it as many parts do not want to come out and are shoved into eachother. I literally do not have 1 good thing to say about this grill. Everything was dry, even low temps and a water pan, why? Because the whole thing is aired, as in not sealed. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I don't do pictures on here but I sure do wish I took one of these before giving it away, cause it would literally be one of those meme pictures of a smoker with smoke pouring out of every inch of the grill.

Works great . Assembly was fairly easy, tools were included, parts were numbered. Very sturdy product. Cooked some delicious smoked kabobs, sausage and burgers Very pleased, would recommend. Thank you.

I chose this model, specifically for the "flame" option. That basically opens a small vent in the heat plate exposing the flame to allow for meat to be seared. From my limited use of this so far it only creates a very small area (about 4 inches in diameter) that get's hot enough to sear. So, while it's technically possible, it is rather challenging to try and evenly sear several pieces of meat evenly. I can see why Traeger doesn't even bother to try and incorporate this feature in their grills. I imagine that all pellet grills have the same limitation and why some of the high end options come with "sear boxes" on the side. If you are particular about a flame charged sear, you need to supplement your pellet grill with a gas or charcoal option. I am considering buying a standard gas grill in addition to this for that very reason. That said, the grill works as advertised. For the price, I imagine it's just as good as any other standard pellet grill. The build quality looks to be pretty good and I expect it last quite a long time. I absolutely love the cabinet which has enough space to store bags of pellets and other items. The smoke quality is good and I've made some wonderfully flavored food. I Highly recommend Z-Grills as "best bang for your buck" product.

I bought this a bit before my wedding; so we could save on buying food. This grill worked great smoking and grilling though my brother in law cought it on fire. Its still working had to replace the auger seal and its going strong still. Big enough for 4 racks of ribs delivering smokey good meat to my family for quite a while at this point. My only gripes are the hopper box is smaller than i would like and no remote temperature monitoring ie. I got to get up and check it.
