Schuberth SC1 SRC STANDARD C4 R2 Bluetooth Communications System

I really like the way this unit is integrated into the Schuberth C4 Pro! The sound quality is very good. Compared to my old Sena 10 unit, I expected an easier way to access controls. On/off, volume, menu and VOX activation. I've got a month of daily usage now, here is what I find. The controls (2 raised nubs at the side/rear) are very hard to operate with riding gloves on. Once you find the correct nub, life is good:) But...it takes a bit of your precious riding focus to find that nub.The VOX interface (Android/Bixby) had me shouting (over and over) into my closed face shield to no avail. This could be a phone prob. (Samsung Galaxy 10e) or the C4 unit...not sure. A couple of times I was tempted to return to my Sena 10 unit...but I am determined to make this one work! Maybe the Remote option is what I need?

Junk!After 3 months I now give up on trying to make this thing work. Its stupid, combersume, and unintuitive. Being hands free was suppose to make my riding safer. Instead, I spend my ride yelling into my helmet and pressing buttons rather than focusing on the road. This product simply does not work. Every single feature it has falls short.I have numerous emails to Leo's shop. Katie was very nice, but in the end I am out $200. Multiple phone calls to Schuberth have gone unanswered.I regret everything Schuberth I have ever bought. Never again will I purchase anything by Schuberth. I am equally disappointed in my Schuberth helmet and Schuberth visors. I am sick of Schuberth and their junk. They are cleverly disguised to look premium.

It’s works long enough, but sound quality make it useless. A lot of distortion on hi volume, no low and mid frequency at all. Can be used only for short calls or navigation information.

The description is only a 3 letter acronym. How are we supposed to know what and where it fits?They have a no return policy! Shame on Amazon for having them as venders. There is no way I can contact them directly. I am really frustrated and stuck with over 200 dollars worth of absolutely useless merchandise.Be ware of these dealers on Amazon. If they have a no return policy, do NOT buy here.

I purchased a Schuberth C4 helmet and spent the extra money to get the SC1 communications integrated into it. It was well worth the money and has worked great for my daily commute to work. The battery lasts all week, and I only have to plug it in overnight on a weekend to get a full charge for the next week. I have been able to pair it with my older SENA devices for the other helmets and works well for intercom. I did spend the extra money to get a RC4 remote to allow me to control music and answer calls without needing to reach up to the helmet. The helmet buttons are a bit hard to find with gloves and can be distracting to try to press while driving. I was also able to pair my GPS on the bike as a secondary device and still keep my phone paired as the primary. This lets me get the directions from the GPS while driving and still listen to music or calls from the phone. I do like that the SC1 is built in and doesn't stick out on the side of the helmet like others. This has made it easy to store my helmet in the top case on my bike without interfering with other items in the case. It's definitely pricey though. I had to knock off a star for the cost.
