Solved my flavor and texture problems: no more gooey texture!
This is a review of the natural vanilla flavor. I did a lot of research on different protein powder brands and flavors before buying this. My husband and I both lift weights, and he makes shakes every day. I find his powder produces a shake with great flavor, but it has a gummy, dare I say, snot-like texture. I just couldn't take it. I wanted something like SmoothieKing but with all of the ingredients under my control (and not so expensive). So the research began to find a powder that made from high quality proteins, with good vitamins and minerals, low sugar, reasonable price, and no gooey texture! Nature's Best Natural Vanilla has met all my criteria: --Protein: whey isolate. Regularly rated one of the best kinds of protein to use. It is their first ingredient. I also did a lot of math comparing grams of protein per ounce (not scoop--scoop sizes differ). 25 g protein in 31 grams of powder is top of the line. You'll find some powders with a slightly higher ratio of protein to grams of powder, but some of them would have required me to sacrifice in my other criteria areas. --Vitamins and mineral: zoom in on the picture of the nutrition label. This powder replaces more than just protein. I was pretty impressed with the range of vitamins and minerals included. --Sugar: only 6 grams total carbs for two scoops (that's 50 g protein). I usually only use scoop (that's 25 g protein) at a time, so that's 3 g carbs. Some people are insane about carb-free powders. I'm not. I have a 6 mile, round-trip bicycle ride to my gym. I can use some carbs when I get back home. In fact, I even add a tbsp or two of honey to my shake to increase the carbs. So unless you're a total anti-carb fanatic, I don't think 3-6 grams will mess up your entire day. --Flavor: The vanilla is not overpowering. I'm not sure if it tastes entirely "natural," so to speak, but it certainly doesn't taste exceedingly artificial like a lot of other brands' vanilla flavors do. --Last, but not least, texture: I ordered this on a hunch that ingredients like xanthum gum cause the gummy texture (logical, right?). This powder does not include any gums. Whether or not that's the actual cause, this powder gets a 10/10 for not being gummy, gooey, or snot-like at all. In the interest of full disclosure, I will also acknowledge that we upgraded our shake-making tools before this powder arrived. We went from a blender from the 1970s to a nutribullet. My husband's shakes are a little less snot-like when made in the nutribullet but still kind of gooey. So I don't think it's just the equipment. If you're sensitive to texture like me and planning to make shakes regularly, do your research about the powders but maybe also consider investing in a nutribullet, vitamix, etc. --Price: It's a little bit more expensive (price per ounce) than what I was buying before, but I think it's worth it for something I'll actually use and enjoy. I'll definitely buy more! My recipe: 1 C frozen strawberries 2 tsp ground flax seed 1 Tbsp honey 4 Tbsp milk 1 level scoop protein powder

Gentle On The Tummy For Lactose Intolerant! Pure, Quality Ingredients ONLY, Great Taste!
I am lactose intolerant and have a sensitive stomach in general since I have ehlers-danlos syndrome. I was nervous trying this as other protein powders in the past did not work. I was AMAZED! This stuff was totally gentle and easy on my guts! No bloating, no stinging, no discomfort. So many other protein powders have lots of unnecessary gunk added to their mixes that can be bloating (besides just lactose). Finding a powder that was lactose free AND made of simple, healthy ingredients was awesome! I bought the vanilla flavor and it blends deliciously with my smoothies that I make. It is lovely and smooth, not chalky at all. My husband said it is the best smelling protein powder he has ever sniffed lol! I think it is important to know that it being whey protein isolate means it is even more pure than a whey protein concentrate, which seems to help my tummy. I have more energy and strength since I started taking this too which is great with the health condition that I have! I really appreciate Isopure for making delicious flavors, excellent quality/ingredients, and lactose free too! I am totally hooked!!

Best Protein Powder On The Market
This is a SUPERIOR protein powder, and believe me I have tried them all. I am extremely particular about protein powder, I can't deal with weird taste or smell or texture. I need it to blend up smoothly and not have a bitter or "protein" after taste and this one does not have that. It is a a very finely textured powder that blends beautifully with no residue and the taste is phenomenal. The vanilla flavor is very versatile, you can add it to your morning frap, your morning smoothie, even your morning muffins or pancakes. I add it to my Retra Rise smoothie that I drink every morning to create a well balanced nutritional start to my day. Of all of the protein powders I have tried, this one by far is my favorite. And affordable too!

Different powders provide different nutrients.
I have been using protein powders for a few months and have been frustrated at the lack of nutritional information on the product pages. I am going to compare that for Jarrow Formulas Whey Protein, French Vanilla, 2 Pound and Nature's Best Isopure, Natural Vanilla, 3-Pounds Tub . You will see that the nutritional values are very different. The one thing they do have in common is that the scoop cannot be found until you have used at least half of it. Jarrow Formula: Serving size: 1 scoop (26 g), 35 servings per container Calories: 105, Calories from fat: 10 Total fat: 1 g, Saturated fat: 1 g, Trans fat: 0 g Cholesterol 50 mg Sodium: 40 mg Potassium: 126 mg Total Carbohydrate: 6 g Dietary Fiber: 1 g Sugars: 4 g Protein: 17 g The ingredients does say it contains milk and soy, but has no wheat, no gluten, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts, as well as no artificial flavors or artificial sweetners. Isopure Natural: Serving Size: 2 scoopfuls (63 g), 22 servings per container Calories: 230, Calories from fat: 10 Total fat: 1 g, Saturated fat: 0.5 g, Trans fat: 0 g Cholesterol: 10 mg Sodium: 330 mg Potassium: 380 mg Total Carbohydrate: 6 g Dietary Fiber: 0 g Sugars: 5 g Protein: 50 g The label says it is lactose free and has no artificial colors, flavors, or sweetners. It also says it is sweetened only with cane sugar and Luo Han Guo and has all natural vitamins and minerals with no fat, lactose, gluten, or impurities. The instructions for the Jarrow Formula say to mix one level scoop with 4 - 6 oz of cold water, soy milk, juice, or your favorite beverage. For a protein smoothie, blend with crushed ice and add juice or fruit to taste. May also be used with cereals, yogurt, or pancakes to increase the protein in the diet. Isopure's directions say: For a rich, thick shake, mix 2 scoopfuls with 12 fluid oz of water in a shake or blender. I have tried both of these two different ways. One was to use the blender, skim milk, powder, and frozen fruit (peaches, mango, or strawberries). Both made a decent smoothie. I also used a shaker and the instructions for using water. Both were tolerable, but I found the Isopure to be a bit better. When it is time to reorder, I am not sure which one I will get. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

SO DELICIOUS - NO FAKE/WHEY/AFTER TASTE
IT'S SO GOOD?!?!? I have choked down more protein powders in my life than most. I have spent a stupid amount of money that I usually couldn't actually afford on the 'best' powders promoted by elite athletes etc., And it's always terrible. I had totally written off protein supplements as just something I wasn't compatible with and opt to find my protein in other food sources for the past two years and haven't looked back. Until now. I grabbed a bag of the strawberry flavor a couple years ago and blended it with homemade yogurt for flavor, color, and protein. It was pretty good, but I quickly learned that I actually don't like yogurt *that* much and didn't think much of it, and I'm pretty sure I lost the bag of powder in the pantry until it got tossed I never tried it on its own. Fast forward to last week as I was shopping around for an easy cheap protein powder to add to smoothies because my fiance is bed ridden with a medication withdrawl and is primarily eating just smoothies and nutrient dense foods that she doesn't have to eat more than twice a day. I grabbed the 1lb bag of the Tahitian Vanilla, and hoped it would blend up well with lots of fruits, at least enough to not be terrible (literally my expectations were so low that I just wanted it to be edible, not even good). I received the bag on January 12th and was BLOWN AWAY by how good it was. I'm blending two scoops (50g protein) into 10oz of good belly probiotics juice, adding some frozen blue berries, water, and 2 scoops of 1st phorm opti-greens. ITS SO GOOD. After tasting the concoction I was hoping would be edible, I made a second one for myself and basically chugged it because it was so good. As I made one for my mother in law to try, while shouting through the house how good it was, I ordered several more flavors and a 3lb container. I am elated over the quality, flavor, low/no carbs, and price point. I've texted several people telling them about it. I cannot get over it. I think this might be the protein supplement that allows me to actually reduce my meat consumption as I would prefer to do without sacrificing protein goals. In combo with a significant amount of probiotics, my fiance has not had any GI issues from it, she's regular and satiated when eating this smoothie as the base of her diet right now, and she's getting over 100gs of protein which will really help her body utilize the amino acids to repair her neurotransmitters that are struggling while she withdrawls. I could not recommend this protein powder more. I will update this review in the event I don't like any of the 5 other flavors I ordered, but if they're even half as good as tahitian vanilla, they'll still knock my socks off.

Love it, recommend!
Iโve done just about every protein powder under the sun, to include all prices. Recently tried ballerina farms, and personally this beats it for me. Granted, depends how you prefer to prepare it, I put half a scoop in each of my two morning coffees, adds a slight vanilla flavor and I canโt have it any other way now. I really recommend. Also great macro.

Strong sweetener flavor
I switched to this formulation because the zero carb version had changed sweeteners and tasted terrible. I was hoping this would be more like the older version. It still has too strong of a sweetener taste. It mixes well without clumping and isnโt thick, but the flavor is still off from the original isopure I started using years ago. Hard to drink by itself, may still be ok mixed in to smoothies or with milk instead of water.
