Why didn't I do this sooner?!
This was so easy. I apologize to all the mechanics and oil change techs that ever worked on my car. And my husband when he put groceries in the back.Note: I made the same mistake that another commenter made. I went to put the rear window struts on the hood, And guess what, the holes did not fit! And I was trying to jam it in there. Oof. Even after I had just read the other comment warningabout it, I still did it. Sorry dude, you tried. 😅 but its looks are deceptive! Lol! So check the holes first! 2nd warning! The only problem was that there was one end part that was the wrong size. I had to unscrew one of ends of the old strut and reuse it. I pried off the clip from the wrong size and stuck it on the old part i screwed on. Seems to be ok.I don't think either of the struts worked when I bought it in 2013. It's a 2005. It's like a brand new car now! 😆 works great and when i pop them up I say *~luxery~* because it's so fancy now! 😅😂 so easy! I had no idea it was this easy! All this time...!

Perfect fix for my '05 Jeep Liberty!
These hood and rear lift glass supports are great! I was able to install them very quickly and easily. They are working perfectly so far, holding the hood up with no issues and popping the lift glass open very smoothly and easily. It's nice to be able to return my '05 Jeep Liberty back to it's earlier days where the hood stayed open by itself and the lift glass popped up so smoothly. I can't comment on longevity yet because I've had them installed for less than a month. However, the price of these (I paid $28 total) is such a better deal over the prices quoted to me from auto part shops, so even if they only end up lasting a few years, I'm still satisfied and would probably just buy this 4pk again!

These are great!
Replaced my mother in laws 2005 Jeep Liberty hood and rear glass struts. They fit and work perfectly. Just make sure you start with the hood first, the hood has a bigger knob on one end of them and you can install the hood ones on the rear if you don't pay attention. (Don't ask. I was just as confused as you are)All and all, works great and an affordable price. Fast shipping and delivery. Would recommend.

Good Replacement for OEM Shocks.
I bought these and replaced the shock on the hood and rear window of my 2003 Jeep Liberty. They where super easy to swap and where the correct length. I have only had them for a few months so i can't speak to the longevity, but i have but opening the hood a lot recently (chasing a CEL) and they have been working as intended. Likewise with the rear window if you unlock it they are strong enough to push the window all the way open without assistance.

Common sense helps!!! They work great for your Liberty!!
Honestly I see all these reviews about them installing them in the wrong location, the ones for the hood are clearly thicker and heavier dutty than the ones for the rear glass!!!!Also if you try to compress them you will only be able to do the window ones by hand and the hood ones you need to press them against the floor. But for the people without common sense I have labeled them for you, you get 2 boxes with an sku sticker. I have them labeled in the pictures.... no more guessing....Yeah the manufacturer should add a note to whats what but honestly just compare to the ones you remove and you will be ok!!!You should buy this kit plain and simple to restore that like new feel to the tailgate glass and the hood on your Liberty!!!
