I got these bags to control fruit flies and birds. The birds will still tear open bags, but I lose fewer fruit to fruit fly damage. I bought different sizes to accommodate tomatoes and cucumbers. Easy to put on, dry fast, and if I tie them properly they can be reused.

Very stiff to secure the bag to my apples.

This was my first season using these bags on our fruit trees. They worked fantastic for birds. 100%. Not a peck. However we did get a box who broke into the garden, and she did not manage to nibble through one of the bags. All in all, very durable. I also liked how if the fruit fell off the tree, it was caught by the bag and string I tied around the branch, and didn’t land on the ground and rot.

I purposely bought these because the picture showed green ties, and I wanted green to blend into the leaves and not draw insect and bird attention to the fruit (at least until the fruit stopped being green). They are plastic not 'cloth' like the description says. However, they seem like they'll get the job done.

If it weren’t for these bags I wouldn’t have any grapes. Birds have tried and failed to get thru. They are easy to put on the grape clusters. After harvest, the bags are easy to wash clean for next year. I’m very glad I bought these.
