I commonly haul light stuff with my HF trailer a few miles locally and HATE that ugly spare tire blocking my view. Doesn’t help visibility much when I’m plowing either. So, I took a chance on this delete and I gotta say I’m really happy with the quality and ease of install! Looks great, not flashy or gaudy at all. I have a white 2015 JK and it looks amazing. Super easy to install and buttons up nicely. The grommets fit perfectly. The bolts used for the spare tire mount fit this nicely, no extra hardware needed. I put all the small stuff that was removed (all that would fit, anyway) inside the door behind the vent so I don’t lose it. It would be very easy to reverse this process in the event of sale of the jeep. Best <$30.00 upgrade on this jeep so far. No spare on the back doesn’t really pose an issue for me since I never go more than 45 miles in any one direction and been a AAA member for 20+ years. Yeah, I know… I’ll get a flat now. =/

This was super easy to install and looks great!

After removing my 20 inch wheel with 35 inch tire once I realized that this is not something that I want to be doing on the side of the road anyway. This plate does a super clean job of patching where the spare tire carriage was removed. A quality piece.

I mean it does the trick. A couple of the holes didn't line up perfectly so I had to take a drill bit to them to make it work, no biggy. The bolts that come with are nothing special... I just used the factory bolts.

Fit perfectly onto the back vent panel of my 2011 JKU tailgate. Stopped the annoying rattle I've been dealing with since I bought the Jeep.Feels well made and easy to put into place. And a decent price compared to other companies.

It fit perfectly and came with all that you need to install it all you need is a 14 mm socket or rench and you are good to go.

I took the spare tire and carrier off a Jeep jk and the blackout plate fit perfect. Aluminum construction about 1/8" thick. The rubber fill plugs fit well and finished the tailgate off with a good look. Value. I was going to buy a piece of aluminum and make it myself. It was cheaper to purchase the kit.
