I recently upgraded my ACER oe motherboard to an ASUS ROG motherboard. The problem with oe motherboards is that the front panel cables all go into one plug to attach the motherboard headers to keep things simple for maintenance. When I did my upgrade I kept my front panel cables with the single plug and plugged the extension cables into the plug before attaching the extension cables to the motherboard headers. Everything still works the same. This was the first time that I have done a motherboard upgrade on an oe system. It's worth it if you have a rig that you like. The rig I have is the ACER Aspire AM3970 so it looks kind of like a black Sand Crawler from Star Wars. Great product and the shipping was fast.

I love the small cube Form Factor of the Shuttle XPC, I have had 3 of them in the past 15 years. When my daughter wanted a gaming computer I decided to convert one of my old Shuttle XPC cases for this new build using a MSI B460i, i7-10700-CPU, 16GB ram, with a NvME drive. Unfortunately, the power and reset buttons and front LEDs on the shuttle are not a standard plug, and are only meant to reach the front of the case. It took a bit of multi-meter testing to figure out which pins on the front went to the buttons and led's but once that was figured out these extensions worked perfect for added length and splitting them into the different connectors on the Shuttle face plate. The extra length allowed me to route them up above in the frame so they were out of the way when installing other components and wiring.

Purchased a Lian Li case which had a one-piece header with everything (Power, reset, etc.) in a fixed position. Of course the layout didn't match the layout on MSI B650 board I had purchased. In 25 years of building PCs for myself and others, never ran across such a thing. These allowed me to get the front panel connected to the motherboard and get the new PC to power on.

I bought them as a contingency, in case the pre installed cables in the case I bought weren't long enough to reach their repective headers in the motherboard. I only needed one and it worked as expected. All connectors to the Mother board header are clearly identified as well as the pin positions. It looks and feel as quality built with goof materials. I recomend the product.

No to bad

I had a tight space in between the mobo and the psu and i couldn't fit the mobo’s audio/power switch wires into the hole between them. i searched online and found this, thought I’d give it a shot. They were perfect in terms of fitting in that spot! definitely worth it!

bought these because I had to buy a replacement front I/O panel and the cables were way too short. Plugged these into all of them and now have the room to properly route and plugin (almost) all of my front I/O cables. Just wish they also had this come with a 1394/FireWire extension cable.

These are great allowed me to hide wiring behind my motherboard when the case had nearly no space between it and the bottom edge. Pricey but the coating on these make them pretty durable unique and very slick.
