If you wish to wash it, use distilled water, and do not scrub. You can destroy the electrodes very easily if you touch them, or attempt to wash them. Do not use soap or any detergent. Allow the plate to thoroughly dry before placing back in the machine,

Q: Would this fit the O-888 unit? I know this have lower capacity but the right ones are out of stock.
