Excellent cooler.
This worked great for me. I put the canister part in the fridge and the part to be frozen in the freezer 24 hours before departure. I had 5 vials that I needed to keep cold. I put those in the bag that was supplied with the cooler. There was still room for more. We flew from the states to South Africa and had a long layover in between. We traveled about 48 hours without additional refridgeration. My meds were kept cold the entire time. I loved being able to check the temperature with the gauge on the lid. I had zero issues going through TSA. The canister is very sturdy. I'd buy this again.

Excellent.
This did a great job getting our son's medication safely through a trans-Atlantic flight departing from Texas heat! Made it to Europe without any rise in temperature

Great!
Tested it out, and around 34 hours later the temperature was at around a cool ~ 50ยฐ F / 10 ยฐ C Reminder, it will drop the temp below 32 ยฐ F / 0ยฐ C freezing if you do not run the ice pack under cool water for 30 seconds - 1 minute (or leave the ice pack out in room temperature air for 5 minutes per instructions). This could damage your liquid medicine. So, by melting the ice pack a tiny bit it gets rid of the frost on the outside. By melting it, it stayed just above freezing temperature inside the canister for many hours. It reached ~40 ยฐ F around 17 hours after starting the test. This is very worth the price. I was able to fit 2 single dose pens that Eli Lilly makes inside without issue (the pens that have a wide top near the opening for the needle). I took the pens out for the test and just put in the empty emergency ice pack into the bottle. There is a pouch that comes with the package that you could maybe put your pens inside the pouch then into the bottle. The canister will be very portable, like a water bottle, to fit into my bag for travel. It's very durable, like a water / coffee container for travel. Made of metal. Easy to use!

This kept my meds cool for over 24 hours!
I used this when traveling to Berlin from Colorado. By the time I got to my Flat in Berlin, 24.5 hours later, the medicine was still perfectly cool. I like that thereโs an easily readable temperature display on the top of the cooler. We did check the accuracy of the thermometer. It was perfectly accurate. I did get stopped at TSA in Munich Germany where they asked about the medication. They opened the container and looked at the label of the medication. They asked if I had an order from my Dr. I had the original prescription label that they attach to the medication box at the pharmacy. That was good enough. He just put the medication back into the medical cooler, and I was on my way. The little medical cooler easily fit into my carryon. This was worth the money.

Does a decent job for 18-24 hours.
Works decent. I wish it was in Fahrenheit and not Celsius seeing how itโs being sold in the USA. It was at 38 degrees when I first put the frozen gel container in. After 24 hours, see photo, it was approximately 50 degrees Fahrenheit. And this was just a test sitting on my kitchen counter in a home I keep at 65 degrees. My guess is it will hold up well on a 8-10 hour car ride.

amazing! fits 2 zepbound pens and 1 repatha pen
I was able to get 3 pens to fit inside this cannister (albeit snugly) and they stayed well below their 75 degree threshold easily during an airport travel day. I checked the cannister periodically the first day and it started at around 34 degrees Fahrenheit and then settled in the 40s as the day went on. I got to my destination and put my pens in the fridge and out of curiosity left the frozen blue gel pack inside and kept checking to see when the inside would register to the "room temp" of 75 degrees. It stayed in the 50s for the second day and it never went below 70 from day 3 or beyond! Granted we keep the house at 70 degrees so that's probably why, but still dang impressive that over a few days my meds technically would have been fine since they would have never gotten over 70 degrees and they are safe at that temp. Great price for this specific device, highly recommended!

Medication Container
The description stated it would hold 8 medical pens. It held 2 so I sent it back.

Kept my wife's injections at proper temp over four different European countries.
Kept my wife's injections at proper temp over four different European countries. You will be searched at airports and they will open it for security but we never had a low temp problem. Nice to have the temp gauge in Fahrenheit as well. Great price too.
