Seems well built should work well on small cars. A nice addition to our 9 foot tram gauge.

Made for modern automobiles
The first thing you notice is that this thing is super light weight. Making it easy and fun to use Perhaps not as rugged as a standard tram, The over center snaps may be the weak point Keep it clean and packed away when not in use ( thus the bag) The double back pointer is a litle goofy but what the heck. It's well worth the $ for me, fits in a tool box drawer. Car engine compartments are getting smaller. Tools should also
