The kimono is beautiful, however I took one star out because it could have been better finished for the price.

I washed my kimono right out of the package on a cold delicate cycle and it really washed perfectly. No colors running and no shrinking. The colors are beautiful and vibrant just like the pictures. It's a one size fit and it worked great for me with plenty of room, but it comes with a belt so you can cinch it to your size. Im 5'5 155 lbs. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the fabric and the belt loops. The fabric has so much static cling and the belt loops are lower than usual. I feel they should be higher up so that you can tie it at the waistline instead of the upper belly. I also didn't love the pockets because they don't lay flat. I think I would plurge and get a more expensive kimono next time but this is decent for the money.

I loved the color, pattern, and fabric of this robe. I especially loved the length! I'm 5'8" and nightwear is so hard to find where full length, it doesn't sit mid calf. So I was happy this went down to my ankles nicely. I did return it because I'm a little heavy in my midsection, and I felt it wasn't enough to wrap around comfortably without the pockets bulging and the bottom opening up in the front. So great feeling and elegant garment, but if you are heavier in the middle it may not be comfortable to close with the tie. I wanted to love it, but I need more material lol 😆

The item like several reviews said, DOES NOT come with a sash. There are inside ties, but you will still flash your housemates and neighbor a half naked view of your body without it. You have to go through the whole return process and return the entire robe just to get a sash. Unfortunately, due to where I live that is far from convenient especially for those who work everyday so I missed the deadline to return. Now I have a useless robe! Yay.... Other than that it is a nice robe, but I would say not worth $40 even if it came with a sash like it said it would. The maker of the robe was nice and responsive when I reached out about the sash, but it is out of there control as it is supplied by Amazon. Amazon's policies sometimes make no sense, are not convenient, and fill the air with glorious excessive emissions! Thanks Amazon!!
