I didnโt realize the seat has some spring suspension in it which helps on the longer rides.

Excellent seat for my 4-yo daughter. She inherited my son's old pedal bike and the factory seat was a bit too narrow and was causing discomfort for her whenever she would go over bumps/curbs. She has not yet figured out how to stand on the pedals, you see. So enter this saddle-style seat. It functioned exactly as we hoped. It made it much more comfortable for her. She loves the color and the over-all look of the seat. It seems durable and was relatively easy to install. All-in-all it seems a great value for the money.
