exactly what i was looking for. quality and strength are great so it works really good, even taking my dii action4 on and off when needed doesn't effect the strength. fits it perfect, good priced and convenient to use

This is the mount the Action should have come with. The flip up legs and the screw hole added to the versatility of mounting this cam. Solid construction with a pretty strong magnet to guide you into the clamp bracket. These guys make a lot of cool little mounts so you can integrate all your cams and tripods into the ecosystem.

bought this for my dji osmo 4 action camera, it has magnetic base,fits opposite mounting base with no problem ,does not add any noticeable weight.over grate product would definitely buy again

I love the feel of this piece over the original DJI piece. Magnet is strong and pulls camera right down. The only thing is the spring latches are very weak. They are nothing compared to the tension of the DJI mount. I feel the magnet is slightly stronger though. The camera will snap into place without touching latches due to the magnetic pull. The DJI one, you need to open at least one of the latches to get it to seat. So really depends on what makes you feel more secure. I can maybe see a latch giving way under a very very hard impact, but overall I wouldn't worry about it.

Works ad advertised such a convenient mount

It does what i wanted. I bought it for the 1/4 20 mount. It seems well constructed, all metal simple small. I use this to reduce my camera height for the gimbal and that's exactly what it does. The cameras included finger mount plus the height of the finger 1/4 20 adapter makes the cam two inches taller making it imposable to balance on a gimbal

I don't like writing bad reviews, but I need to warn the consumers that this accessory for the Osmo Action Camera should be avoided at all costs. The quality of the material is excellent, and it has a pretty strong magnet. The problem lies in the clipping mechanism, which is so small that it doesn't clip all the way when you attach it to your camera. However, it can easily be detached with a simple pull. Should Small Rig stop selling this item? Go back to the drawing board and redesign the locking mechanism. Stick with the first-party accessory for the moment.

Super produit, comme d'habitude avec Smallring. Fonctionne à merveille, l'aimant est encore plus puissant que l'original de Dji. Je L'utilise avec la cage Smallring mais même sans la cage, il fonctionne aussi bien. Solide et bien construit, je peux le recommander sans hésitation.

I was reluctant to order this, fearing that it will not be as good as the DJI original, but with Amazon's return policy, I felt it was worth a try. It turned out that this part is even better than DJI's own product! Made out of metal, it is a perfect fit and very secure, both on the DJI Osmo Action 4 camera and the Small Rig cage. I have now got 2 additional items! Yes, I recommend this item.
