Its was pretty cool, not bad for 30$ however the paint does chip very easily.

I purchased this set to go with my son’s Halloween costume. He’s 13 and loves it. The blade is wooden which is a first for us…definitely a good thing. Cheap plastic and I don’t get along. For the price, it’s pretty sturdy. As long as my son doesn’t try to really Samurai chop anything, it will hold up lol. He’s really strong btw. It looks good in person as well. The colors are vibrant and the stand that it comes with allows them to set it up as a display piece. Oh and the sleeve (I forgot the actual term for it) is nice as well. I definitely recommend purchasing this item. Lastly, I did not give it 5 stars because I know it would break if my son played with it the way he’d really want to. Other than that, it’s great.

This Nichirin sword is so cool! The sheath is made of good plastic and the sword blade is semi-thick wood (1/2" on top of the blade), the handle is nicely made and feels really good on the hands. As said in the description of the item, the guard is plastic but it's fairly solid in my opinion, like, it won't break that easily. I am giving it a 4.5 star rating (even if it says 4) because even though the description said the belt might not be included, I am sad about that, also because my sword is ever so slightly curved to the left but still is super straight! Besides that, BUY IT. It's so cool!

My son thinks he’s a samurai demon slayer now so I need to step up my game and buy another one. He’s not a big fan of the belt but everything else is a beauty
