Excellent, accurate system, best for pressure loss alerts
This system is an excellent way to monitor real-time tire pressure. Screw the sensors on, download the app, pair the sensors and you’re done! The little plastic lock nuts to secure the sensors on the valve stems are a nice touch but annoying to have to back them off to adjust pressure. (They require a special plastic wrench that you need to carry). Set the low pressure alarm and put your phone in your pocket. If you lose pressure, a VERY LOUD alarm will get your attention. If you’re anal about adjusting tire pressures, you’ll want a handlebar mount for your phone to keep an eye on things. As the bike has to move a bit to “wake” the sensors, setting pre-ride cold pressure is a bit of a pain. Spares in the box include an extra set of sensor batteries, an extra lock nut wrench and a thoughtful pair of split rings to attach the wrench to your keys. Great value, well executed and cheap insurance against a tire-related emergency.

TIP: my-fobo.com online website = down, forget trying to register your Fobo Bike2 TMPS sensors
TIP: If the my-fobo.com online website is down, forget trying to register your Fobo Bike2 sensors Eventually worked as advertised on the tin. My Fobo Bike 2 package arrived shrink-wrapped, i.e. it was not an open box-return from somebody. All parts were present as per box/product description. I applied for a web account online with my-fobo.com before I actually received the couriered units, by downloading the (new) “FOBO TPMS” Andriod App (on a Samsung S22 Ultra). Once the Fobo Bike 2 units arrived, I followed the clear instructions to register the 2 sensor units via the Android App. Simply no go, after many tries. This despite having a strong cellphone internet signal, and obviously Bluetooth activated, as per install instructions, including touching the sensors with my phone during the App install process. The FOBO TPMS App did not want to register my 2 valve sensors -- and timed out searching for the RT valve sensor. (screwed the plastic lock-nuts on before I seated the valve sensors. I have metal side-valve stems on my Kawasaki 1-litre bike) Then it dawned upon me: on some Reddit forums, FOBO owners were complaining that the my-fobo.com website/servers are intermittently down. So I quickly checked via cellphone if I can access the website. Yup, offline, the website/server. There will thus be no way FOBO TPMS App could communicate with my online account to register the sensors to my specific email account. 18 hours later, the my-fobo.com website was online again. (earlier I unscrewed the valve sensors and stored them, as apparently these sensors start their Bluetooth pairing mode the moment they detect any air pressure in them). Was now able to register both RT/FT valve sensors within a few seconds. Voila, it works. Batteries indicate FULL. Tire pressure within 0,1 bar of an existing tire pressure unit I have. So far so good, over several days. Recommended. The FOBO Bike 2 does away with any reading sensor attached to your handlebars. I always travel with my phone attached via QuadLock, so my phone doubles up as a “moveable readout” within Bluetooth distance. What’s not to like. Once off the bike, I kill the FOBO Bike 2 software running in the background on my Android phone, to prevent the sensors/batteries from trying to bluetooth reach me, as the bike garage is 40m from my residence, as I dont need 24/7 monitoring. Monitoring only needed when am about to ride/during a ride. “4 Wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul” – now knowing, at all times, the correct tire pressure before/during a ride.
