I recently purchased this to add some additional lighting under my monitor. After looking at what felt like hundreds of options, trying to figure out power cord lengths, adjustability with colors, remote option, apps, so and so on. I stumbled on this, the Under Monitor RGB Light Bar. My purpose for the light bar is to add some light beneath my monitor where I display my Ultra's and appreciate the details. It's more of a back light than a keyboard light, for me. What made this option appealing to me is that it uses a USB connector for power and that's it. There's no external power supply or batteries. I used it on my ASUS ROG PG279. It provides a nice little ledge on the bottom back side for the light bar to be mounted. It also has two USB ports that can be used for powering the system. The supplied power cord measures 57.5 inches or 146 cm or 4.79 feet. The kit also comes with wire mounts so you can keep your wiring nice and clean. And they include double sided tape for mounting the bar. I cleaned the surface of the light bar and the location for mounting on the monitor with rubbing alcohol to ensure a good stick. So far no issues with anything coming loose. The remote is simple to use and allows for pairing or binding additional light bars to it. This is nice as I'm thinking of adding the two in one system they offer to mount on the sides of the monitor. The allowance of additional light bars is a great idea and appreciated, that's forethought. The modes are fun and add an additional element that I wasn't really looking for but, like I said it's fun. I use it more for static lighting, not really motion. But it's nice to have the options. All in all I think this is a great product, simple, and does what's expected, and then some. I would recommend this product. UPDATE: 01/31/24 Since purchasing my first light I have since added the two in one system to my monitor. I now have a total of three behind the monitor itself. I've also added two more single light bars to some shelving on my desk and it looks and works great. This is great product that's easy to install and use. Would fully recommend this.

I bought these as a replacement for LED strips that came with my entertainment that had gone bad. They are bright amd definitely do the job. I prefer to use them to halo the light rather than standing out. Good range of light intensity and colors. No flickering. super easy to install. For such a cheap.price the quality is surprisingly good especially the instalation stickers.

They are bright, and easy to "install" wherever you want with pre-applied sticky pads. Good in every aspect except the following... If you have to move them, the sticky pads seem to lose a good amount of stickiness. They'll still stick, but not as well, so it helps to be sure where you want them the first time. But they do remove easy and clean. My remote somehow reprogrammed itself in the first week. Everything still works, but don't correspond to the button you're pushing. Like now if I want blue or something, I have to press yellow or something different. Not a big deal, but I find myself having to go through most of the colors to find what I want when I switch things up. The rotating gradient is jerky and stutters unless on a high speed. At a speed needed to make this look OK, it goes through colors so fast it's more disturbing than anything. The problem is there aren't enough LEDs in the bar to provide a smooth transition as the different colors shift along the bar. This isn't a problem if you're just using a single solid color. Which is what I use them for, so great for my use, which are mounted facing out on the rear of my monitor as back/mood lighting.

This is a compact RBG light with many different colors and flashing patterns. Easy to install and includes mounting tape and hardware. Big issue is the remote. The buttons are all wonky and turn on the wrong colors. I also find the remote interferes with a different light strip from a different brand. I find that to be quite annoying.

worked as a great light for under gaming tower

My previous one of the same had an issue with the USB plug in after about two years of great service. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to light it up everyday I turned it on. But…for the price, I just replaced it. Not a big deal. Two years of great service is fine with me.

Even though I ordered these on separate dates, they both died completely on the same day, almost exactly 6 months from when I ordered them. One was not even plugged in. I had been having trouble with them for months. They would turn themselves on at random, or change the color setting, and I would have to take 20 minutes to reset them. They are obviously badly shielded and designed. I really only used one mode, and that was the rainbow race light setting, and I really liked that a lot. However, I am not out $50 with nothing to show for it but a few months of pretty lighting effects. Definitley not worth the money. I am very disappointed in them, and a little bit perturbed that they died so quickly. I won't be buying anything from this vendor again (if they are even still around). Don't waste your money, find something better.
