KORE Tactical Gun Belt | X2 Buckle & Reinforced Tactical Belt

At first I was skeptical about this belt but after some reviewing I decided to try it out. I am certainly glad I did. This belt has held up well. Lets break it into parts. Size: This belt incorporates a sizing mechanic that is unique to many other belts. When you receive the belt you will cut the belt to your preferred size. Leave a little so that you can loosen the belt if needed. This allows the belt to fit anyone and be very versatile. Durability: This belt is very durable. This particular belt had fraying of the outer fabric, nothing structural but I had to trim it a few times. This might not be the case for other belts or for the leather variety. I wear lots of holsters, flashlight holsters, knives, and tools. This has caused great wear on the belt. The belt buckle has held up well though I needed to place the release lever facing down so that I could rest heavy items on the belt. I've rested over 100lb on the belt buckle with no failure of the buckle or the lever mechanism. Comfort: This particular belt is not very comfortable. It is very stiff which is good but when carrying heavy tools or supplies on the belt it will rub on your hips. I've heard that the leather belts do not rub as bad. Once the belt is broken in it isn't as bad, especially considering that this is my go-to belt for over a year. It is my personal belt, work belt, and fashion belt. Buckle Mechanism: This mechanism is weird at first but after a while it is amazing! It allows the ease of tightening or loosening of the belt with one hand. As stated above this belt mechanism is also strong being able to rest 100lb loads on it. The zip tie mechanism also makes it very strong. I have not seen one slip from the belt since bought. I would definitely recommend this product!

This is a sturdy, well-made belt that provides wearability and positive confidence that your holstered, concealed handgun will be accessible when you need it. It is purpose designed for this activity. Although not specifically made to accommodate Appendix Inside the Waist Band (AIWB) carry because of the buckle selection I made, it can do the job. It is stylish and fits in with contemporary clothing. It aids in concealment by reducing "printing" to some degree. It is rigid and takes some effort to thread through beltloops but rewards the effort with the utility needed for carrying a handgun in concealment for longer periods of time. The unique ratcheting system used for fastening is robust and takes practice to learn how to take it off using the release lever. In summary, this is a very good belt for use for carrying a concealed, holstered handgun and its design and construction should make it last a long time. It is worth the investment.

I went to see my instructor the other day to tell him I got my card for my ccw and he asked what gun I chose to carry and I said my sub and lifted my shirt and he said cool but you have the wrong belt, I told him it was a ratchet type and said it was too flexible it should be a stiffer belt, that’s why it sags, he showed me his, it’s called “kore” and I just got it today and it made a big difference, nice looking and well made and very comfortable, I wear a iwb holster and this belt is perfect and the holster snaps in really nice.

I'm a big guy 320lb so I did not need to cut to size but I do have plenty of room to do so, but I absolutely love this belt I carry every day and this is the most comfortable belt I have ever own very stiff holds my OWB holster nice and tight but stays comfortable all day, even while driving, I wish I had switched to KORE long ago!

Loving the belt! It's very rigid so holds up well. Follow the instructions, it's very easy to get it setup for use. They say add 4" or 6" depending on if used for IWB or OWB. FOLLOW THOSE DIRECTIONS AND TEST FIT, it's easier to cut more off if needed. When testing mine, I found that adding 3" to my waist size was proper, but again, TEST before cutting it shorter because it really depends on your setup. One very small issue I had was getting used to the release 'tab', it takes some practice getting used to where that is located and how to use it. Highly recommend this, it was purchased as a replacement for a leather gun belt which is about 5 years old and showing it's age. My current setup I'm able to use both IWB (smaller weapon) and OWB (larger weapon) with no issues.

I’m not sure why all the hate for this product. It is an EDC gun belt. The properties you are looking for seem to be the things folks are complaining about. For an EDC belt I want 5 properties and this product is one of the best I’ve tried. 1) stiff and ridged - the most stiff and ridged EDC belt I’ve tried. Most gun belts you order that claim to be ridged are no more so than a regular dress belt. I think this is what people complain about when they say it’s uncomfortable which is odd. I find it very comfortable. Perhaps if you have a belly that hangs over the belt it could be uncomfortable 2) right width. Most EDC gun belts seem too thin and the clips of holsters have too much room to shift around. This is perfect width for standard clips. Not too wide where it is a pain to get through belt loops 3) ratchet system. Excellent and durable ratchet system with a low profile lever. 4) durability - easily the most durable I’ve tried for an EDC belt. 5) looks good and like a regular belt.

This is a great belt. With its quarter inch adjustments, I can now wear my gun at the position which provides the maximum comfort.

I purchased the 1.5 X2 Tactical gun belt through Amazon and I had to come over to the Kore site to leave a review because I love it that much! First off, I've never had a belt fit me as well as this one does. I guess I always fall between the normal belt hole sizes because trying Kore's locking system solves a problem I never even knew I had! When I'm not using the belt for a carry belt, it holds my pants up in a much more comfortable yet secure way. When I do carry, I can rest assure that everything is STAYING in place. There is no sag or dip I usually feel with my other EDC belts - but it also is comfortable. Multiple times since trying it out I forget that I'm even wearing my carry. It's THAT good. They won me over and I'll probably never switch. Buy one, you won't regret it.
